[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Flavor is smooth and has an amazing smell when brewing. Price of this coffee is great considering the price for a cup of coffee at any coffee shop. Packaging is easy to open and Folgers is recognizable anywhere.

Agree with many folk here ~ the new "medium" roast is horrible in comparison to the old "medium-dark" roast. Poor flavor now, weak-tasting and weak-smelling while brewing. Reminds me of the infamous "new" formula vs "old" formula SNAFU by a famous soft-drink maker... Mess with what's good and it's gonna bite in the a#$ ... Despite claims to contrary, there is NO WAY the actual roast can be the same as before, that it was merely changed for packaging purposes/in-house comparisons. Proof for me..: I'll drink near a whole pot before leaving for work, yet stop and get ANOTHER cuppa of "high caffeine" version at a convenience store literally 3 miles away from house --- just to START my day properly "energised" upon shift start. Been drinkin coffee over 40 yrs, so it's not like I'm some "new" to coffee person.

I recently bought 2 canisters of Folgers Colombian coffee from 2 different stores thinking the first one was just old or stale. I even ran a cleaning cycle on my coffeemaker thinking that might help. Wrong, you guys have changed something in the blend and it now has a horrible taste. I’m not buying your story about only changing the label and roast classification. I guess I’ll be shopping around for a new favorite coffee because it definitely won’t be Folgers Colombian anymore. Very disappointed! I can’t believe I bought another canister and now I stuck with two cans of nasty tasting coffee.

I see the list of longtime customers that have posted about being unhappy with the change in the 100% Colombian Medium-Dark Roast to Medium Roast and I also see Folgers response claiming that “our 100% Colombian Coffee has not changed” and that “The roast meter on the canister was recently updated to more accurately represent this roast’s strength”. I’m calling Folgers out on this and saying BS! I first noticed the difference in the lack of boldness and richness in the flavor of the coffee but the biggest difference was in the smell when breaking the seal and opening a new can of coffee. These changes were observed before my wife pointed out the different label. Say what you want but, IT IS NOT THE SAME!!! Folgers, you may claim that this is only a change in the labeling of your roast meter but I’m not buying it, figuratively and literally. Hypothetically speaking, IF your claim of labeling is accurate; your marketing department really messed up on this one. Well, it’s been a good run, we’ve been a customer for as long as I’ve been drinking coffee now and I guess the old saying of “all good things must come to an end” is true. Good bye Folgers.

I am so disappointed in Folgers! I have been recommending the100% Colombian Roast Coffee med-dark roast for many years. It has been my favorite until you supposedly reclassified the blend. The label not only changed but the coffee is no way the same. Why on earth you would change what is working for you I will never understand. The so called reclassified coffee tastes nothing like the med-dark. I am searching for a new coffee and it’s not Folgers.

I saw the Columbian name on a Folgers canister and wondered if it would have that great Columbian Taste, I am Very Happy to report that I was overwhelmed with the aroma and taste. I have cut my ties with Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts OH and Eight O'CLOCK. I am A Customer For Life. Just Don't Change It.

Just love the flavor of this coffee. Quick shipping. There was a problem in transport, Fed X isn't careful with anything. Maybe the shipping department could pack better. there was ton's of paper on top of the box. but one of the three coffees I ordered, the lid came off and the foil was torn. Therefore there was coffee all over the ground and items inside, including the toilet tissue it was shipped with. My porch smells amazing but, that shouldn't have happened. Maybe shipping could tape the tops of the coffee containers, to the bottom.

I loved and drank Colombian MED-DARK everyday for years and just purchased a new canister and I knew the taste was off but I figured maybe I got the wrong flavor but no .. it is now MEDIUM?! With the lie of the same great taste... I will be returning and never drink this new roast again because it is just NOT GOOD AT ALL! So disappointed!

Bring back America's favorite coffee! We've been drinking Folgers Columbian med-dark roast for as long as we can remember(hopingit could be darker but it was the closest we could get). Noticed a few weeks ago that it wasn't quite the same, and thought we had mistakenly bought the wrong flavor, but noticed it was a totally different blend hiding in our favorite Columbian's clothing. We'd really love the old flavor back, we've tried your other med-dark and medium roasts and nothing else compares to the flavor profile of the original. Incredibly disappointed and looking for better coffee please!

Very happy with my purchase of Folgers Columbian coffee. I was tired of paying for overpriced k cups so I traded them in for a My K Cup and the Folgers Columbian ground coffee. I am so glad i did! I get a great, rich cup of coffee and save lots of money. Thanks Folgers!
