I drank Folgers Colombian for many, many years, but then got caught up in the specialty coffee craze. I’ve recently retired and my budget now dictates I live more modestly so I decided to return to store bought coffee which I had previously enjoyed. Boy was I surprised. Mixing with crude, bitter, highly caffeinated robusta? Recommending a 30 to 1 mix ratio? Times have truly changed.

My favorite flavors had always been the Folgers French Roast and Hazelnut. By mistake, my brother bought the 100% Columbian and i was so disappointed Until i gave it a try. Now I'm so so Hooked on the Columbian flavor!!! I love the rich and smooth taste, thanks bro!!!

You took perfection and now you have lost me. My father in law tasted your 100% columbian 10 years ago and said it was the best coffee he ever had in 70 years. He drinks it black, no additives. Now we are all looking for a new coffee. This is a stupid as Coke changing their formula to New Coke and thinking we would not notice. Why do you mess up a good thing?

I've been reading all your replies to everyone assuring them that the Colombian hasnt changed and I just wanna know how you can keep saying that when it's so obviously not the same! Like many others, my household has been hooked on the medium roast for years. This is nowhere near the same and now we're left trying to find something close to the medium dark roast.

Although i see where you say that it has not change.. those of us that loved the Columbian Med/Dark Roast can Definitely tell the difference. it is With out a doubt Weaker than it was. I'm sure i speak for the rest of us when i say.. PLEASE Bring it back.

I have used 100% Colombian a long time. Recently saw packaging changes and bought Gourmet Supreme as it is described as med-dark as the Colombian was. Count me disappointed. Weird taste, not Colombian gets [tastes old fast]. Is 100% Colombian still available?

This taste like it's been cut with classic roast, it's skunkier, It's not as smooth, it's more bitter, slight aftertaste down grade for sure. The original folgers Columbia was some of the Best in the stores. I was faithful to the original Colombian. Please bring back original , we will pay more if need be for a superior product. Bring the quality back. Original Colombian was 5 stars. I. Give this roastmaster series Colombian 2 stars

My wife and I have been using Folgers all of our life and I am 55 years old,but lately the last 3 large plastic containers have tasted really salty. Frankly your product has had a weird smell and we buy it very often and I buy it for my job it too. I am not wasting anymore money on Folgers and guess will find another brand. From the looks of the reviews Folgers has some serious complainants. Very Disappointed

Two times now I have bought my usual Colombian coffee that I have loved for over 40 years and its something else. Mis-packaged or overrun from previous flavor I don't know. I cant even identify what flavor it is but it is bad. Its worse than store brand. And your names on it. I'm afraid to go to another store in fear that it came from the same lot. And to make it worse the store charges an extra dollar for this flavor over the others which makes no sense at all. I read that you call it a medium dark roast. Colombian is a full bodied dark roast. Period. If you served that in Colombia they would run you out of the country. I don't know if I just got a couple of cans that were filled wrong or what. QC is the answer for my issue. Usually its OK and is Colombian although not as robust as it should be. I'm with others about the canister getting smaller. I would have rather paid an extra dollar than to get a smaller container for the same price. You re-tooled and re-packaged which cost alot I'm sure, when it would have been easier and more cost effective to just raise the price a tad bit. I'm still stewing over sugar going to 4 lbs from 5. NOBODY likes it.

Generally happy with the Coffee and it's flavor. Even with recycling, the plastic container seems a bit excessive. We try and repurpose the containers as well (gardening, storage, etc..). If a refill bag option were available, I could purchase that and just refill the container I have.
