Please bring back the (Colombia - MEDIUM-DARK)!!!!! We love this coffee. It's always a big hit at all of our parties, however I can't find the Medium-Dark version anywhere? I hope its still being made??? Please bring it back. I've been being it from Ralphs in Castaic for years and now no one seems to carry it anymore. Not even on the Folgers website itself! Why?

I normally do not write reviews. However, I am now. I have been a Folgers Coffee drinker for as long as I can remember. I drink 100% Columbian medium dark blend. Well, it appears it is no longer available. The "new" 100% Columbian medium roast is NOT the same. It has clearly changed. Packaging as well as taste. Not sure why, but DEFINITELY not a good move. On to a new brand for this family.

My husband, our daughter & I are avid drinkers of 100% Colombian Folgers, however, on a recent shopping trip to our local store, I found that the size of the can has been reduced again. That would be okay if the price followed suit but the price remains the same as it was for the larger can. I will be switching to Maxwell House.

I used to love the 100% colombian but for a long time I've wondered why I do not enjoy my morning coffee anymore despite not changing a thing about my process. Apparently, the only difference is the coffee I've been buying has been ruined by folgers themselves. Fix it. Ruined the best part of my day.

We drank the 100% Columbiam Med-dark Roast for years. We know the smell when opening canister, the color of the coffee grounds, the smell from dripping hot into our waiting cup and, the most important part, the taste. Not the same anymore no matter how hard you try to convince what was a loyal base of coffee drinkers for your coffee, that it is still the same product. IT. IS. NOT. THE. SAME. .... Stop trying to convince us otherwise.

I have recently switch coffee brands as i dont get the same taste from Folgers medium-dark as you have switched to just a medium roast. I have been drinking foldgers medium-dark for at least the last 10 years. You are loosing many customers over this. We just dont like the taste of the medium. Please switch back! Your loyal customers deserve it.

Response from Folgers below said "updated the classification of our 100% Colombian from a Medium-Dark to Medium to better represent it’s flavor and strength in comparison to the other roasts we offer." Does the new/currently produced Medium taste like the old Medium or the old discontinued Medium-Dark, or something different? Thanks.

I’ve been drinking Folgers coffee for years. I was drink med/dark which had a wonderful bold taste. My company loved my coffee when they came to visit. The med coffee is definitely different. It seems that there is not much flavor at all. I really miss a good bold cup of coffee. I’m now in the process of finding a different coffee that offers a good bold rich taste. I hope in the near future you offer the med/bold again. It was always my favorite go-to choice.

I have been drinking this for years. Something HAS changed. I drink it strong. Cowboy style. This is seriously disappointing now. If you look in the cans, the color is even different. To much light brown. To many large flakes. If the growers had a bad year that's something we can understand. But saying nothing has changed, to a serious hardcore coffee drinker is insulting.

I used to drink another brand of coffee, I won’t mention the name, however they call it the state coffee of Louisiana. When I left Louisiana I could not purchase that brand anymore and started drinking Folgers. I was used to dark roast flavor, and found Columbian coffee was a good choice. However I also love the Gormet Supreme, and the Black Silk as a change up from time to time. If you like the Columbian coffee I suggest you try these even darker roast blends. I don’t know why, but the last can of Columbian coffee I bought had a bad flavor of being stale. The only thing I can compare the flavor to is Maxwell House! I always purchase Folgers coffee, this can was just like any other, flavor seal was in tact and the first two pots were fine. But then it got very bitter and just plain nasty tasting! I have contacted Folgers and am waiting for a response. I don’t mind paying a little extra to get good tasting coffee, but this can was awlful! Folgers needs to look into this and find out what is going on at their packaging plant. Oh and you could send me a coupon for another can, I will send this can back and let you try it! Please look into this issue as I found my old brand in the store the other day. I would hate to leave as your coffee is good, but if I get another can of this rott gutt coffee I will be gone as a loyal customer. There is just no excuse to open a fresh sealed can of stale coffee that payed good money for. One bad can in 20 years does not make a bad review, but I am really disappointed in getting a fresh sealed stale can of coffee. If you get one like this please let Folgers know. This has to be an issue at the packaging plant and they can correct it before loosing customers. Hope this review helps you.
