I went to the store to purchase my favorite coffee and imagine my surprise/disgust when I discovered it was no longer made!!! Why the switch from 100% Colombian medium dark roast to medium roast??? It's NOT the same coffee. Now it tastes like all the low quality tasting coffee I stopped buying once I discovered it! No more Folgers for me until you bring it back!! Now I'm back to looking for another brand of coffee that actually tastes as good as it smells! And so are all my friends and family that I had "converted" to Folgers 100% Colombian medium dark roast!

I've tried several Folgers blends and this one is by far my favorite. The Colombian blend is bold, but not overpowering. It also smells the best in my opinion. Although French Vanilla's aroma is pretty good, I can't say it's a true coffee smell. One whiff of this and you know you're about to get a darn good cup of coffee (please excuse my lack of expletives). Unlike the French roast, the aftertaste is pretty clean, and unlike the classic roast, it does not leave a film on the top of the coffee. I'd highly recommend it to anybody: coffee lovers and newcomers alike.

Very happy with my purchase of Folgers Columbian coffee. I was tired of paying for overpriced k cups so I traded them in for a My K Cup and the Folgers Columbian ground coffee. I am so glad i did! I get a great, rich cup of coffee and save lots of money. Thanks Folgers!

I have loved coffee since an early age, younger than most and Folgers is the only brand I grew up with and the only brand I use today. The Colombian Roast is probably one of the best cup of coffee you can have at home. I drink a lot of different coffee at different coffee houses and have a wide range of tastes but when I go home its Folgers Colombian that is brewed. Great job y'all!

I see the list of longtime customers that have posted about being unhappy with the change in the 100% Colombian Medium-Dark Roast to Medium Roast and I also see Folgers response claiming that “our 100% Colombian Coffee has not changed” and that “The roast meter on the canister was recently updated to more accurately represent this roast’s strength”. I’m calling Folgers out on this and saying BS! I first noticed the difference in the lack of boldness and richness in the flavor of the coffee but the biggest difference was in the smell when breaking the seal and opening a new can of coffee. These changes were observed before my wife pointed out the different label. Say what you want but, IT IS NOT THE SAME!!! Folgers, you may claim that this is only a change in the labeling of your roast meter but I’m not buying it, figuratively and literally. Hypothetically speaking, IF your claim of labeling is accurate; your marketing department really messed up on this one. Well, it’s been a good run, we’ve been a customer for as long as I’ve been drinking coffee now and I guess the old saying of “all good things must come to an end” is true. Good bye Folgers.

Very upset about not finding my favorite coffee on the shelves in stores... the medium is NOT the same as the medium dark.. VERY NOTICEABLE Change in Flavor and smell... Now I have to go around buy small containers of different coffees to find the one that I like... NOT HAPPY AT ALL... I switched to your brand after I went through emergency surgery for Ovarian Cancer... 2014... 5 years with you and this is what you do to me... :(

What happened to the Colombian Med-Dark roast??? I bought almost every kind of roast you make (because me and my friends are coffee fanatics) and I found that the Colombian Med-Dark was the absolute best, and now it's gone. I bought this one thinking the store ran out and this was bitter garbage. Will never buy again. Thanks Folgers for ruining a great roast, just lost a life long customer.

Not sure what changes were made to the French Roast coffee over the time that it was so hard to find at any of the stores, but now that it’s back, the new French roast has no flavor. Not sure why you had to change something that was so good. French Roast was the only coffee our family used for years but we will need to find something new. This now has no flavor. Please bring the old French Roast back.

I guess all of us who noticed the change in "classification" are all wrong and nothing has changed. It's not the same and that's fine. Been wanting to switch over to Dunkin's dark roast but my wife has been hesitant. This finally helped convince her to switch. Thanks Folgers!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my new favorite! I've always loved Folgers, but have never tried this blend. I waited to review this after I tried the decaf. Nice, bold, flavorful. I love the container that it came in also. Try this blend, you won't regret it!!
