This has a stronger, bolder taste, so if you're picky about coffee, this one is nice to not just enjoy in the morning but as an accompaniment to a good book or when you want to take time to savor a moment. The canister is easy to open and store, and the coffee brewed fine in my Chemex pot. I would recommend this.

My family has been drinking Folgers for 3 generations (that I’m aware of) and it is a trusted brand in my family. Because I knew I was adding a good amount of milk, I chose the medium roast of Colombian so that it would still have a rich flavor.

So I was very curious about Folgers Colombian Coffee. Could it be as rich and tasty as my local blend? Actually, it's pretty darn close! The medium roast Colombian coffee smells so enticing as it brews, and the taste is rich and smooth. I now understand why Folgers is a household staple for coffee lovers everywhere.

It lacks the smoothness and balance I expect from a Colombian blend. Overall, the taste is too strong and burnt for my liking. I wouldn't recommend it.
