Great option for little kids. The perfect amount of space for multiple snacks and lunch. The reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I wish the small snack container had a rubber edge like the lunch box, and I wish both had a small amount of rubber on the bottom to help prevent it from moving on a table when open.

Chill Lunchbox is great. However, the snack box has not lived up to usual Bentgo quality. After one use the closure on the lid broke and pops off every time I open it. Also, the box leaked yogurt out all over my kids backpack. Would be interested to see if I just got a faulty one or if they are all like that.

This is the perfect size for a kindergarten snack. They are easy to open yet have a great seal. My twins carry a separate snack and lunch. Bentgo boxes for them have worked out the best for durability and style. These snack boxes also match their lunch boxes perfectly.

My kid picked this out for his kindergarten year. It took some work to figure out opening and closing it on his own, and at first, he'd sometimes not get it closed back all the way, which created a mess if he had leftovers. More importantly, the ice pack doesn't stay cold nearly long enough to keep everything cool for very long, which could be an issue if you have a later lunch or aren't storing it in a very cool place in the meantime. It would also be nice if there was a carrying bag available for this; it's kind of slippery and difficult for little hands to carry to the lunch room, especially along with a water bottle. We found a small tote bag that worked fine, but having bags made to fit (and maybe to coordinate with the colors or collabs) would be helpful. All that said, the basic usability of being able to separate out his lunch items was great, and being able to toss the insert in the dishwasher was super helpful. We got a 2 pack, but ended up putting the 2nd box away, as we usually run the dishwasher every other day, and the spare ice pack came in handy when we forgot to unpack his lunch box the night before. At the price it was, he'll be using them again this year, but if I had it to do over again, I'd just get the regular bento box and use separate ice packs.

We have been long time bentgo box users and I was excited to see a new design come out that keeps my kids lunches cool through the day! The design of the box is very smooth and estheticly looks pleasing to the eye. However, I am still very partial to the kids boxes from the original line. The compartments in the new box are smaller and there is no option to make the meals ahead of time & snap a lid on to keep in the fridge. (We appreciate being able to meal prep with the other boxes). I am not discounting that this is a good box - just doesn’t fit our needs at the moment and I find myself using the other boxes more than this one. The concept is great and I am glad we were able to try it out.

I’ve been using bentgo for my daughters lunches for 3 years now. I love the that I don’t have to send her lunch in multiple containers or plastic baggies! I Just purchased this two pack. I love the built in ice pack, it keeps everything nice and chill which is especially great on those hot days.

Good product overall. I'm used to more technical gear, which can maintain temperature for extended/predictable amounts of time. However, this does a good enough job for school lunches. The latch can be a little difficult to open/close, even for the adults in the house.

Good Lunch box, i love the sleek design and color options. I was happy that they now have this chill box option to keep food cold. Unfortunately, The ice pack part isn’t really that cold and doesn’t last very long either. It’s better than nothing at all, but by the time it’s lunch time at school, the ice pack has lost all its cooling. I would recommend but don’t expect the “cooling pack” to last more than 2 hours.

This is great for my kids next step. The slightly larger compartments and the ability to keep the items fresh and cool are a big plus for this SoCal heat! Only thing is it took quite some time to receive my order-expect 8-10 business days so order in advance for next school year.

My new 9th-grader didn't want to take a traditional lunch box to school this year, so I searched online and found this one. We originally didn't consider it because it's a "kids" box, but the adult version offered does not have the removable freezer tray, which she needed to keep certain things cold. So we went back to the Kids Chill and chose the gray color, which toned down the "kid" factor. Upon arrival, it doesn't look like a kids box at all - it's very stylish. It does get a little heavy with the freezer tray in, but that's to be expected. Still way more compact than a lunch box. Only complaint is when she put yogurt in one of the compartments, it leaked over into the neighboring compartments; not a biggie but we won't be putting anything that liquid-y in again. Overall great product, especially for the price!
