After buying the larger lunch boxes for our kids, we ordered these snack containers and they're perfect for our kids. It's great being able to keep two different snacks separated, the size is appropriate for younger kids, and they're durable enough to handle the frequent drops you can expect from your kids.

I bought the Bentgo Chill box for my preschooler. We used it a few times with the inner ice pack on some outings and picnics, and the food inside did NOT stay chilled. The ice pack is a thin piece of plastic that you freeze, not a true ice pack. I also found that it was impossible for my 3 year old to close with the ice pack inside. So we have been using it without the inner ice pack for school and I put a real ice pack in his lunch box on top of the bentgo box. I must say though, I do like the set up of this bentgo box better than the other (non chill) kids bentgo box. It holds plenty of food for my 3 year old for lunch (although we pack a separate morning snack). For older kids, you might want to find something larger. He has been able to close the box without the icepack on his own after some practice at home. I would recommend putting the bentgo box inside a soft lunch box because there have been a few occasions that he did not snap it close completely, and some food or liquid did spill out. Putting in another soft lunch box protected his backpack and stuff from getting covered in food. I recommend this box if you can find a good deal. But I would not purchase it just for the "chill" aspect, because you will be disappointed.

My son loves these lunch boxes. And so do I. They are very easy to pack and keep everything in one place. I do not have to pack multiple containers and have to find fitting lids anymore. Makes packing lunches so much easier. Their customer service is amazing as well. They were super responsive to any inquiries, are super friendly and resolve in a timely manner. Definitely a customer for life here!

Oh how we loved these bentgo snack boxes. It was perfect for my daughter’s lunches and snacks for school. I had even bought some for her little brothers as well. The portions were perfect. I loved the snack size because it fit perfectly in her lunch box. I packed two bentgo snack containers. One for lunch and one for snack. I found this worked better for us instead of the regular sized ones.

My daughter received this as a gift. She’s doesn’t eat much of a lunch and is more of a snacker so was excited for this product plus it’s not super bulky and liked that it comes with the cooking pack. Unfortunately it wouldn’t close/seal properly. Wasn’t sure Id be able to have this resolved without hassle, but customer service was quick to respond and will be replacing this item. Thanks so much!

Bought snack containers and stainless steel lunchboxes several months ago. The seal keeps everything in its place. It’s easy for my 7 year old to open/close independently. We had a quality concern with the stainless steel lunch box, but customer service was top notch.

We absolutely love this lunchbox. It’s the perfect size for my elementary school girls. We love that there Is a removable ice pack attached to the lunchbox. We also love that it is dishwasher safe. With that being said it is extremely poorly designed. The latch to open it close The lunchbox CONSISTENCY breaks every six months. We have had to replace the lunchbox maybe 4 times each child. I’m hoping That bentgo creates a better design for the latch, maybe something metal and not plastic . I can’t imagine that this is not occurring with the majority of elementary aged children. I have two girls that I would not call “aggressive”. Its a shame because it’s such a great design else wise.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bentgo Kids Chill box works great. The ice tray keeps our food cold until lunch. It seals well to keep the liquid in the compartments so it does not spill over or leak. It is easy to wash and the food tray is dishwasher safe. It is a great box for kids.

I did a trial run at home with the ice pack and wasn’t impressed. It didn’t stay cold for hardly 2 hours. But other than that it’s a very cute lunch box and easy for a small child to open. I would be afraid to pack something that requires it to be kept cool for more than an hour or hour and a half.

Our kids love these lunch boxes. It’s the perfect size for packing lunch or snacks for school and also to take in the car on road trips. I love the size of the different compartments. Originally I received a lunchbox that didn’t latch very securely, but customer support was highly responsive and quickly worked with me to replace it. Highly recommend both the lunch box and the company.
