While this unit has options for wood and vinyl windows, that does not include all vinyl REPLACEMENT windows. The screen framing on my bedroom vinyl replacement window is higher than the lip next to the sill. That means the front of the unit would be higher than the back...not the correct pitch. Even adding a wood piece to the front would not work because the vinyl sash is too light to hold the unit in place , even with screws. It works in my dining room window, but I needed it most in my 2nd floor bedroom.

I bought this unit as a pickup item at my local Sam's club. I didn't notice until I was unboxing the unit that one corner of the box was crushed. The AC unit does have a small crack on one corner. I was concerned that the unit wouldn't work. I went ahead and installed it. It seems to be working fine. It cooled off my living room quite nicely. So far I am happy with it. I just hope I won't have any issues with the warranty if something goes wrong because of someone's carelessness at the retailer.

Couldn't have purchased my new air conditioner at a better time - high 90's in the D. I can now breath and sleep in comfort.

Doesn't even cool. Does the same thing as a basic standing fan but worse. And eats up much more electricity too.

Purchased two with summer approaching and they do a great job.

Bought to cool a 10 x 8 room doesn't keep the room cool at all with an outside ambient temperature of 83 degrees Fahrenheit. Unit was not worth the effort to install it
