I just bought this air conditioner today but forgot to purchase the 3 year warranty that was offered. Can I purchase that now (after-the-fact)? Thank you!

Room is approx 120 sq ft with doors closed and this on max is gets the room to about 78 degrees, ive had it in the window for 3 days il giving it away and buying a new ge one monday a 5000btu ge gets my room down to 60 degrees

For what it is, a small AC unit, perfect for a small room. it does the job. We put it in the old walk in closet we no longer use, it had a window. 4x6 feet, as there was no vent from the house AC central air, so it gets pretty warm. So we slipped this in the window and keep the door closed. Our daughter set up a server for a small business she runs out of the house so that the computer puts out a good bit of heat. It took 24 hours to dial in the desired temp and the thermostat has no actual degrees on it, just a plus/minus dial and adjusted up and down over the course of 24 hours to find that felt comfortable for that space.

I also love how its quieter than most air conditioners and the air forced out is quicker compared to other on the current market. It installed with a breeze very quick and simple. The knobs are easy to operate and to read. It's not too bulky and fits a standard sized window with room to spare. This is such a great addition to have I absolutely love it!!

You can adjust the vents to blow in different directions. Easy to run. Not loud. Also would work great in a ice castle for camping. Just the perfect size.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mechanical air conditioner product is modestly sized and traditional. It is only 5000 BTU but it packs enough power to cool a small room. I put this in my kids' bedroom since that room gets the hottest during sumner months. It does the job in cooling the air so my children are not suffering from dry heat during the summer. It is on the heavy side so portability is not really an option. This product is placed on the windowsill and works pretty much expected. I think the mechanical controls are better than digital these days because mechanical is more precise and you can more readily reoair it should the need arise. This is your standard color palette so it's not trying to make any fashion statements. Overall, a solid air conditioner for the keeping.

I live in a studio apartment on the third floor with 12 foot ceilings. My old air conditioner was practically useless for maintaining my apartment at a reasonably cool temperature to the point I had to move my bed closer to the window to sleep comfortably. Even so, my summer electric bill was crazy high. After installing this air conditioner I was pleasently surprised how cool it made my entire studio apartment. I finally was able to arrange my apartment with my bed being in a more reasonable space and can even use my oven without fear of overheating my entire living space. Even better my electric bills aren't as high as they were last summer. So happy to finally beat the heat!

I've got a 5th wheel trailer in lake Havasu where the temp has been between 115 and 122 this past week , my roof ac unit couldn't keep up with the Temps I installed this 5000 but unit in the bedroom, it sloved cooling problems , The Best Little unit For the Money, I would recommend this unit to everyone
