Smoothest standard-brand coffee I've had. I drink too much coffee to afford the high-dollar "prestige" named coffees. The Black Silk is only nominally higher than regular Folgers, and when purchased in the 40 oz. bulk size container, it's even a little less expensive per ounce.

I have used Folgers Black Silk for many years and enjoyed every cup, mug and pot. I will continue, I hope, for many more years. Sam's club is the only store that caries the 40.3 oz. size container that I like. Many thanks to Folgers and Sam's club for brightening up those many mornings up.

I ordered Black Silk and received Classic Roast instead. I'd suggest that Sams implement a quality control program to ensure that what the customer orders, the customer receivers. The poor rating is not intended to reflect on the product delivered rather to reflect my feelings towards the manner in which my order was processed.

Folger’s Black Silk is my every day coffee. Purchasing through Sam’s Club is simply the best deal around. I get more procure for less money. Isn’t that the ultimate goal of shopping at Sam’s Club vs. other stores?!! The flavor is truly dark and delicious. I love every last drop of my daily drip.

I tried this because it was on sale and i prefer a robust tasting coffee that isn't bitter. It is a dark roast so I was wondering if it was going to be too robust or strong. As it turns out, it was delightful! I tried it with a coconut creamer and it tasted like a Mounds candy bar. Then I tried it with a little half and half to be able to really taste the coffee, and it was excellent! I would recommend this!

Great coffee at a great discounted price, but discount was not applied to my shop and go. I did contact Sam's and got an e-discount. If I hadn't checked my e-receipt, I would have been charged full price. Sam's need to make sure discounts are applied so we can continue to trust them!!

In the last 6 months this coffee has gone from $9.99 to 15 bucks getting ridiculous with raising your prices. The only reason I found it was because I searched at the end caps it was hidden. One guy told me well we don't usually sell that because it doesn't sell well well no it's not going to sell well when you have it hidden in an end cap covered by another item duh

It’s all about Black Silk now. I drank Folgers classic roast for at least the last 25 years, but something went wrong during the pandemic. Folgers classic tasted awful to me so I tried Black Silk and instantly wondered why I hadn’t been using Black Silk years ago. It’s rich and it’s smooth. Taste great and we love it. Sam’s had the best price on the 40.3 oz container, so I ordered 4 of them online. In two days the coffee was delivered and I’m good to go for a couple of months. Sam’s always comes through for me.

This is the stuff I grew up with, bold and strong. It used to just be the "classic" or "regular" (I don't remember, I was a child) in the 80s and 90s. At least that's what my dad says. This is what coffee used to taste like, everywhere. At least in my memories.

Its dark and smooth, no bitterness or bite, but also no depth to the flavor or scent. Lately it takes several days to get my orders from Sam's, so I ended up running out before it arrived. If its going to take awhile, be honest and don't lead customers to believe otherwise.
