My son, 10 years old, was very pleased with his new PS5 controller. He loved the camouflage style. The only thing that I was unhappy with is that it did not come with a charging cable, you have to use the one that came with the PS console, therefore you can only charge 1 controller at a time. My son didn’t seem to mind but I wish I wouldn’t know before I ordered (maybe I overlooked that info and just assumed it came with a charging cable.)

Sorry this won't be very helpful but i'm constantly getting messaged to review this (compared to other items i get messaged once) I really don't know what to say that's why I don't review controllers. If you have a ps5, you can use it to play games. since it's the newest system it has newer technology inside but it's still.... a controller. you can play games and chat with it. purple is my favorite color so i got that one. Sooooo, yeah.

Controller looks good and works good. I did find it odd though that they do not provide another charging cable with the controller. I would have gotten red but the color isn’t the greatest, I wanted like red red. But it definitely had a pinkish tone to it.

im glad i got the warranty because it seems playstation control quality since ps3 has plummeted....less than 5 months of gameplay and was already have drift issues as well as by the end the joysticks cycling themselves....for what we are paying for these controls it is embarrassing and borderline unacceptable that a company with such class and attention to detail has eroded to a company that makes things that dont last 6 months let alone the test of time.

This review is for the midnight black. Definitely, a leap in gaming technology over the Dual Shocks. Great haptic feedback, adaptive triggers along with the built-in speaker and microphone makes for a great gaming combination that really puts you into the game. You feel every swing, bullet, raindrop, even the mush of walking in sand. The gamepad gives you a detailed level of force feedback. I like the trigger feedback that was lacking on the Dual Shocks. It really brings a new sense to the game that you didn’t know you missed until you experience it on this gamepad. You can use the mic to chat or in some cases, such as in Astro’s playroom, use it as part of the game play. It is slightly thicker and bigger than the Dualshocks, but feels like a sturdy controller. Definitely a big step up over the PS3 controllers that feel flimsy in comparison now. The controller is comfortable to hold and use. I like the Dual sense white that came with my system, but I wanted a second one and prefer the black color. Unfortunately, this black controller had nothing but issues. It had a severe stick drift and appeared to be defective straight out of the box, so I returned it. The gamepad is pricy, but is a big step forward in technology, if the game takes advantage of the features, that makes games even more immersive and fun to play. Unfortunately, these seem more fragile than previous generations and this controller had very severe stick drift, which seems to be a common issue with these Dual sense, although oddly the white one out of the console box, has had no issues. So, if you get one that isn’t defective, then these controllers work great. But this one didn’t work well at all. 1 stars

So the controller arrived today and it had packing tape over the box security sticker and the inner cardboard holding the controller was torn. Seems pretty clear this was a returned item. Can’t test it yet as I’m still waiting for the console but it looks to be in ok condition. Shady to charge full price on Walmarts end and then ship this though.

I purchased this for my husband as a second controller to the first one he got when he got his new PS 5. He is absolutely in love with the controller, the way it handles and how smooth it is to work with. He would recommend it to anyone who ask and also loves the look of it. It is also very durable!

I was playing with the controller that came with the ps5 for a while(2 weeks) and in the middle of a battlle royale my jump button would completely stop working ever since i got this controller ive also noticed change in my skill in a good way im not saying this controller makes you better at gaming but it boosted my confidence knowing i have a reliable controller When i hop in to games. And anybody who plays battle royale games knows that the more confident you are the better chance youll have at winning so yeah great controller i recommend it.

Ended up having to buy a 2nd controller to replace this one due to drifting. These are way too expensive to not even last a couple of month. I didnt spill anything on the controller nor had it been dropped or physically damaged in any way after opening.

my husband loves his controller, i thought it was going to be a slightly more red but its still a pretty cool color! we havent had any issues with buttons sticking like previous controllers which is a blessing. the speaker is decent and i like that we dont have to have a headset anymore.
