We got these floors around the same time my brother-in-law had floors installed by a local company. Our floors were much thicker and seemed like much higher quality. My husband said they were easy to install so I'll have to take his word for it. Also, the color and look was exactly what I wanted. Not too dark and not too light. A nice modern tone. We've had the floors for a couple months now and they don't show dirt tracked in by my kids and have held up well so far. Finally, I was super impressed by the customer service by Select Surfaces. They were so helpful when we reached out with an issue. I would recommend them over and over!

A knowledgeable friend recommended laminate from Sam's Club/Select Surfaces; after comparing the description to other laminate sold elsewhere, I concluded that this was the best quality for the price. My interior designer friend recommended Heritage Oak. We bought the laminate online and then had contractors install in in our condo. The contractors asked if they could borrow a few boards to show other people, who were asking about purchasing high quality laminate. It seemed relatively easy to install but definitely not a DIY project for people who have never done this before. We had experienced contractors install it with new baseboards and I personally feel that I could have never done as good of a job. Anyway, it is beautiful, timeless and very good quality. I highly recommend it! The laminate looks great in every lighting.

We have installed several colors of this exact floor in several homes. In my own home we chose Heritage Oak because it was a medium color and a classic look. Delivery was great and install is easy (have a lot of experience with this exact floor) but the color is darker in person than in the online picture. was hoping for it to be a tad lighter but overall we are happy with it and may do the same floor in the rest of the house. After installing so many colors in other homes I think Sam’s Club should carry this color IN STORE it is much more timeless than the barnwood and silver spring colors they carry. I think it would be a popular color!

This is my third large purchase from select surfaces. We did our small back yard in their fake turf (which has held up well so far) and finished our entire basement floor with Select Surfaces laminate in a different type and it, too, has held up very well. We decided to redo our main level and wanted the "spill defense" type because the kitchen is included. The color is great. However, so many of the boxes arrived (we ordered a full pallet) with damaged corners. Because of that, we had to order extra. Guess what? Out of four, four were damaged. It's not like the shipping boxes were damaged. Every single time, the damage is on the upper corner, same side. I cannot stress to you how much money, time and frustration this has caused us. The pictures attached are of the replacement boxes we ordered (and paid for).

We used Select Surfaces Heritage Oak Spill Defense Laminate Flooring on about 1200 sq ft of our main living floor and in one bedroom. Unlike many reviewers, we experienced no difficulty with installation. So far we have liked how the floor looks, but it seems we will have a problem with durability. We now have three divots in the floor that go completely through the laminate layer due to dropping small objects. The objects we dropped are: a water bottle lid, a spoon, and another water bottle lid. I feel like commercially rated flooring should not chip when you drop a spoon. So far the floor still looks good, but after a few years I wonder how many chips and divots we will see due to dropped spoons.

I've installed a lot of floors, once even on a wall. Only one time have I ever ran into garbage like this, and it was about 2mm thin. It doesn't stay together. Switching out multiple pieces multiple times over perfectly flat flooring... if one part goes in, the other goes out. I don't know if it's too thick or what, but this [censored] [censored] is garbage, and I take it as a personal insult that anyone would dare ask me to give them money for it.

Now that it’s been laid down for four months, I notice places where they have chipped!!! I love the color of the floors not the quality of them. I did my entire downstairs and this investment is going to cost me in the long run. Such a waste of money.

We bought & self-installed 600sq ft of this laminate throughout our basement and could not be happier! It's super sturdy product with a solid underlayment (although it does require a vapor barrier if you're installing over concrete). We were very impressed by the variation in patterns (I counted between 8-10 board patterns before they were repeated). And I love that the tone is a warm brown-- doesn't skew gray, green, or pink. The knots and patterns look incredibly real and I love that it's a very low-sheen finish and the boards are slightly textured. I have looked at A LOT of laminate and vinyl flooring and this stuff is top-notch with an unbelievable price point. Because the boards are 14mm (super thick for laminate!) you'll need a circular saw to cut this well. We couldn't get a manual lever cutter to deliver a clean cut. We also paid to have our basement concrete subfloor leveled so we could avoid creaky boards. I've attached a few photos to show it installed-- keep in mind our basement has very little natural light, so the tone skews darker. Also: my local Sam's store gave me a VERY HARD TIME when I tried to return the excess, unopened boxes. They did... eventually... but not without a prolonged, escalated conflict.

I love his floor! It looks amazing. Even my contractor said I did good. That it’s good quality and easy to do.

This is the second home that we've purchased this select surfaces laminate flooring for and we love it. It was very easy to install and it's very durable.
