Love that this thermometer reads both surface and interior temperatures. Big easy to read display screen. Love that it came with the batteries separate from the unit to ensure not battery drainage. We own a small family owned bbq trailer and this would be a perfect product if it was magnetic to be able to put in our wall above our cutting station or on the fridge.

Had a problem with this item that was immediately corrected by the mfg. Haven't had a chance to use it yet but am real pleased with the response from the mfg.

Updated Review... Bought in December and quit working on the probe function by April. Trying to reach manufacturer but website does not work. Not worth the money for a 3 month long life.

Quick and accurate temp reading for all meats. Very easy to use.

Perfect when cooking on a griddle. Can check griddle temp and food temp with one instrument.

Great thermometer

Bought as a Christmas gift for my wife and have had issues with it turning on and clearly the infrared is worthless. It reads LLLLL and from time to time bounces a number that makes no sense; one number is -4.5 and another might be 55.7. Then it goes back to LLLL. Will compare probe to a second thermometer but have lost confidence in this probe. Does not function or work as it states.

I bought this thermometer to stop my wife from criticizing my grilling - I used timing and feel before but now I can always get a perfect steak for her. The way she likes it and not the way I like it.
