As this is a thicker flooring than most on the market, it can be more difficult to click because it isn’t as flexible as thinner laminates. However, our Barnwood laminate flooring has an advanced SpeedLoc™ system that should allow for easy installation. We recommend watching the installation video on our website or on samsclub.com, as well as carefully reading the installation guide before starting. Hello Patsy, Thank you for posting a review. We are sorry to hear about your experience. Because the laminates have an AC4 traffic rating, chipping should not occur with normal residential use. However, it is still important to protect your floor by putting felt pads on your furniture and trying to avoid dragging or dropping heavy objects onto the laminate.
