I purchased 126 boxes of this flooring to place in my living room, dining room, kitchen and hallway (open floor plan). I went with this product instead of cheaper sq ft products from Lowes because this flooring is waterproof (spills for 24 hours), comes with backing installed, and is a much thicker product than most (about 1/2 thick and heavy). The trick to installing this is to place the product into the groove of the first piece at a 45 degree angle. Then tapping gently lower it to the floor until it snaps into place. I had to learn this by messing up 3 or 4 pieces before figuring it out (there are no instructions). You will need pull bars, plastic guides and plastic hammers to install this product (same as you use for any laminate flooring installation). Once I figured out the secret to installing it correctly - the installation went very quickly! This is for high traffic and light commercial use. I installed it into our home. Now after 3 months of heavy traffic (with a dog too) it still looks new. I HIGHLY recommend this product. btw ... I caught it on sale at Sam's saving about 40 cents a square foot.

I installed this in February and I'm constantly finding corners that are uneven and chipping. I was extremely careful when I installed this with the vapor barrier to make sure all the pieces were mated properly and the edges were even, as I do when I install ceramic tile. There are pieces that are now uneven, and the corners are chipping. I'll have to find a way to fix the issue so the cleaning pads don't get snarled and pull out more of the top layer.

We installed the Select Surfaces laminate barnwood color in 2018 or 2019. It's beautiful and has held up well with dog nails sliding across it and other everyday activity. I wanted you to also see how it's held up to a natural disaster. Our house was hit by a tornado in March 2024 and it ripped part of the roof off two bedrooms. The pictures show what the floor looks like in one of the rooms after the debris, damage and water was cleaned up after 5 weeks. While obviously the floor will have to be replaced because it was wet for several days, or weeks, what you don't see is buckling or the quality of the flooring compromised. (The white residue is from the wet insulation that was on it.) If it will hold up that well under those harsh conditions, I have no doubt that it can hold up to just about anything under normal conditions for many years to come. The flooring will be replaced with the same.

I'm only giving these 2 stars because they are pretty and they were inexpensive compared to other floor of equal thickness. After installing these in our home and using them for ONE day they already have 4 chips! We have been extremely careful when placing furniture and even take our shoes off to walk on it. I have NO IDEA how they chipped. If I would have known these were going to be so fragile I would have spent the extra 1,000 on a name brand. I read all the reviews on the flooring and was convinced it was a good option. I was so wrong. I am extremely disappointed with my purchase and would not recommend this floor to anyone. The outer most layer of these floors is extremely vulnerable to damage. Do not purchase if you want a floor that will last. Do not purchase if you have large dogs or kids. To be honest, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. You can get better flooring at an equal price at a discount dealer. This was the largest purchase in our total home renovation and I'm totally sick knowing it was junk. Save yourself the heartache. As far as installation these were really easy to install. During installation we had about one box total that was chipped and unusable.

We have now had these floors for 3 years. They are beautiful however they are not water resistant for 24 hours. My dog had an accident overnight so urine sat on the floor for maybe 6 hours and there are now bubbles in that area. Highly disappointed. We bought this flooring for the reason of it being 'waterproof', so I am only giving 3 stars for that reason. Otherwise the flooring is beautiful and thick. If you want true waterproof then I'd suggest buying something else.

This is one of the easiest laminate floors I have ever installed. I have been installing flooring for almost 8yrs and of course every brand and every type has a different way to lay down viynl is typically the easier option to lay but I wanted a thicker flooring and came across these floors the price was right so we tried them out. I know they say water proof but I never trust laminate saying they are waterproof, laminate is just pressed wood so not surprising people are saying it's puffing up after water has been on it. My husband and I installed this flooring in the living room and dining room just under 800sqft took us about 8hrs or 9hrs (we worked on it after work for only 2 days) so in love with how fast and easy it was. We bought a different brand for another flooring store to install upstairs and after 2 terrible days we finally finished 300sqft needles to say that flooring is going back and I'm going to purchase more of this brand!

Let me start by saying I have NEVER liked laminate from day one on the market…just wasn’t a fan of it…the feel, sound, quality, overall look. This floor is different! I researched it immensely before purchasing 2000 sq ft for my home and I am NOT disappointed even after living on it over 3 years now! It went down very well, the transition pieces all match very well and hold up to door traffic. This flooring is extremely durable, doesn’t scratch and stays beautiful. Highly recommend! I have pets and 11 grandchildren that come often…these floors stand up to life. I will say that in my research of reviews that none of the other colors seem to have as good of a result against the peeling that is notorious for laminate. Just something to keep in mind.

This is a great product and super easy to install. Remember that on concrete surfaces you DO need a vapor barrier, but on second floors you do not. The only negative is that you cannot find the transition moldings anywhere. And if you buy them from the manufacturer you are going to pay 2x as much AND you only get 1 piece (total rip off). I put this flooring in my closets, master bedroom and home office, but now I am regretting it because I cannot find any transition strips.

Great product for the price. I owned a flooring installation business for two decades and this "locking system" is one of the most simple, sure and reliable on the market. As with ALL locking laminate, care must be given to the locking grooves and channels so as to not damage them. Highly recommend!

We bought this to replace carpeting in our family room and dining room. The Barnwood flooring is much darker in person than it is in the product photo. Despite the color being darker than we’d hoped, we decided we like the coloring and would keep it. This was the first time we installed laminate flooring. The instructions were easy to follow and installation was simple. We shopped around for awhile before agreeing on this flooring. Our deciding factor was this brand features 24 hr water defense along with the attached pad. It truly was the best value for our money.
