Getting worse..

These eggs used to have very orange yolks, not anymore, and the shells have gotten super thin and brittle. Compared to even Kroger regular eggs, the yolks are not any darker, like they used to be. Hopefully they feed these chicken better or something soon and restore the quality. Truly the thinnest, most brittle shells I have ever seen for like the last 6 months at least. Which is why I'm leaving a review finally. And the yolks, showing something isn't right nutritionally for the chickens.

eggs stick inside container !

4 eggs were broke but you couldn’t tell looking at the top . When I got home all of the eggs were stuck in the plastic container .The ones not broke would break when you tried to pull them out . I lost all the eggs except 7 .I ran water over them to save those .

Poor packaging - Uneven quality of eggs

Poor packaging, uneven quality. The plastic box s so thin that we almost always have cracked eggs no matter how carefully we handle the 18 pks. The egg shells seem thinner and more fragile that the Vital (Farms?) egg brand Sam's had been carrying. The egg yolks also vary from pale yellow to orange within an 18 pk. Bring back the other brand please.

Quality product for good price-come back in stock!

Pasture raised nonGMO and a decent deal to boot. Found these superior in quality and price to other available options in my area. Bought for the first time a few weeks ago when I stumbled across them and they were out of stock when I came back for more. I'm hoping they come back. Now that I've discovered them, they'll be a regular purchase of mine.

CHANGED!

These supposive pasture raised eggs have changed dramatically with the last 3 cartons, I've been buying for quite awhile, since Sammy's first started carrying them. They USED to large & the yolks were dark yellow. They have been substantially smaller & a pale yellow. I feel their has been a bait & switch.

love these eggs!

These eggs are great! Maybe others have gotten a bad batch but I’ve always had great quality eggs with a beautiful deep yellow yolk! I always buy humane processed eggs because I feel bad for these girls having to produce eggs for us so I think the least we could do is have them treated humanely! Well worth the extra cost!

Great bargain!

You honestly can't beat the quality and price of these eggs. We're eating a lot of eggs in this economy for cheap, healthy protein, so these packs are a godsend. I cringe when I have to grab a dozen at the local supermarket because of the price and low quality, pale yokes. Don't hesitate to buy these!

Loyal Repeat Buyer

We pick up a carton on every visit. Not only are they delicious, but they do indeed have the deep orange yolk of a pasture raised hens and their associated healthy diet. This means we are getting the right omega-3 levels in our nutrition profile. And amazingly they are affordable. We could not be more pleased. Please continue to stock these. I hunted high and low when Vital Farms was no longer available.

Don't trust it

These eggs don't look at all like pasture raised eggs. I think these are eggs from chickens that do get to eat grass, or else they could not be called pasture raised, but mostly eat a feed like egg lands best. Just look at the price compared to their cage free eggs. How are those more expensive than pasture raised? Wish they carried Vital again.

Some times there appears to be a difference.

I started buying these eggs about a year ago and noticed immediately how deep orange the yolks were. I have noticed the eggs do appear a little smaller than when I initially began purchasing them and the shell is not as thick as it was a year ago. On one purchase, the yolks didn't appear as deep colored as previously.
