Finally able to wash & dry our king/queen comforters at home without having to go to the mat. They fit perfectly into our Stackable laundry closet and the platinum is really sleek. Has lots of options that we haven't learned to use yet, and who knows if we even will! I'm a Samsung user (phone, tv, and now washer) so its great being able to connect everything in one hub. So if I dont hear the chime, I'll get a notification on my TV and/or phone letting me know.

This set has more features I especially love the Wi-Fi capability and it works with our Samsung family hub smart things app. so i could start the washer or dryer from my phone. and it sends me alerts not only on my phone but also on my TV's as well because every major appliance and tv in my house is now Samsung

⭐️☆☆☆☆ STOP! DO NOT BUY IT. I purchased the Samsung 7.5-cu ft Reversible Side Swing Door Stackable Steam Cycle Smart Gas Dryer (White) with high hopes, especially considering its smart features. The convenience of accessing settings via the SmartThings app through Wi-Fi is a definite plus. However, my overall experience with this dryer has been disappointing. The major issue that overshadows any positive aspect is the extremely loud scraping noise emanating from inside the dryer. Initially, I thought it was a one-off defect, so I returned it and had a replacement installed. To my dismay, the second unit exhibited the exact same problem. This consistent flaw indicates a serious design or manufacturing issue, making me question the overall quality of the product. Given the unpleasant and extremely LOUD scraping noise and the inconvenience it causes, I cannot recommend this dryer to anyone. It's disheartening to realize that I am now stuck with this defective product for the next 10 years or until it inevitably breaks down. The frustration and disappointment associated with this purchase make it clear that this Samsung dryer is not worth the investment. Save yourself the trouble and explore other brands for a more reliable and noise-free drying experience.

The large 7.5 cu. ft. capacity makes it easy to dry big loads, comforters, and bedding without needing multiple cycles. The Smart features are convenient—I can check the cycle status and get alerts right from my phone, which saves me trips to the laundry room. The Steam Sanitize+ option is one of my favorite features. It not only helps reduce wrinkles, but also gives me peace of mind knowing it’s eliminating bacteria and allergens. Clothes come out fresh and ready to wear. I like to wash my clothes in the evening, so having the drying work faster is a huge benefit. The wifi integration/mobile notification is super helpful, because the dryer is so quiet. We have several Samsung products that use everyday, so we figured why not, right? Excellent choice (pat ourselves on the back)! We love everything about this dryer. We initially joked about the WiFi, but jokes on us cuz we use regularly! Haven't used the steam function yet, plan to when we're in the new house and the washer/dryer are side-by-side. Right now the face each other in the walkthrough laundry room. I even love the color and will get matching washer when current one fails us - probably with a full load that is in soak mode.

The different settings are great for deciding which type of load you are drying. There are setting for bedding which I love. This dryer dries my clothes fast and efficiently every time.
