I received a sample of this Westmount Herringbone Rigid Core Vinyl Flooring and fell in love with it! It is a very nice neutral/gray color. It goes perfect with the new addition room in my home. It feels like it is very durable and made out of a sturdy material. Seems like it is easy to install.

The flooring is thick and seems like it will wear well in high traffic areas. I like the color variation and texture in the planks. The herringbone installation may be a little trickier for a DIYer. Straight installation seems pretty straightforward with locking pieces.

The sample received had a nice wood texture and was attractive. I tested this sample the same way I tested other flooring samples - I tossed it in a sink of water and let it sit for 45 minutes. After soaking I removed it and saw that this product had no signs of swelling. After drying completely the product looked the same as when I tossed it into water. I think this would do wonderfully for a bathroom, kitchen, or entry floor.

I used this sample flooring in my kitchen where most of the dirt and scuff marks occur. Does not stain or scuff at all. I will recommend highly to future clients and the herringbone pattern is a classic ! Perfect color too!

Beautiful beautiful flooring! It looks so much better in person and is pretty sturdy! Also excellent customer service! I needed special ordering and they were able to accommodate me in a timely manner. This herringbone style was not easy even for my contractor and I would recommend to up the wastage to 10% but it was so worth it!

I love the unique look of these herringbone boards. The color is more neutral so would fit many different home styles. It has a nice realistic wood texture and is very durable.

I just installed a floor very similar to this one. I found this one to be easier to lock together. Cutting is easy. I placed vegetable oil on it to see if it discolored as I found to be an issue the the floor I have. No discoloration. I definitely would install this one if I had another flooring project.

The sample rereceived is not a full-size piece of the flooring. Based on the dimensions given by the manufacturer it is less of a herringbone and more of a chevron style. It does have a nice grain and texture to the field. The backing has adequate padding built into the tile. Without multiple pieces to verify the interlocking capabilities it’s difficult to judge how well they snap together. The thickness of the surface texture and color appears to be adequate for a medium traffic area.

This vinyl plank is a nice looking product. The color is great and texture feels nice under your feet, I would install in any room of my home. I would prefer thicker padding on it due to my feet hurting all the time, so that's the reason for the three stars rating.

I cannot recommend this floor at all. It’s a pretty design and nice neutral color. It is very challenging to install due to the herringbone pattern. I used this in my kitchen (2 pantries and an island in the center).and in a foyer. I would estimate that 60 percent of the planks used had to be cut, at an angle due to the herringbone pattern. There is a ton of waste due to the herringbone pattern. Plan on about 40% overage to account for the extra needed for the design, not the typical 20% overage. It was installed according to the instructions, but 3 weeks later and I’m having pieces separate. I cannot recommend this product.
