The playset is excellent for kids however, big caveat - it will rust. We had the playset for several years now and it's starting to rust and fell apart. See photos. Glad was able to find the rust before kids went on the slide deck. A little disappointment that metal has rusted, Lifetime may need to research replacing those parts with aluminium or material that can withstand elements of nature. Still giving 3 stars as there are no other comparable products on the market.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought and set up this set in March 2019. It's been 7 years. We loved it! It did break eventually, but with our wild child it lasted pretty long - to the teenagehood. What killed it - is aduilt-sized teen swinging it wild daily as high is possible, I started to worry for safety cause that thing was "dancing" when swinging, still never got to dangerous point of flipping though - it's quite stable. It probably wold benefit and last longer if there was an option of ancoring it. Although, we did replace chanes with one of swings (mostly used) after about 5 years. I'm writing this review now cause I'm looking for 1 broken part replacement on this website. I hope I'll find it - fingers crossed! Then it will last for few more years of wild swinging :) I'll keep you posted!

We bought this set for our grandchildren in 2017 for our home. We were so impressed by quality of it & it has been extremely durable & safe. And it still is! We have 1 problem & are reaching out for solution. There is a brace that holds weight of slide to frame of swing. OURS is heavily corroded making unsafe to go down slide. Grandkids unhappy! Is there a replacement part we can get from LIFETIME to remedy this problem?

We have only had this set for a couple of weeks, but it seems nice. It was definitely easier and quicker to put together than the wooden sets that we have done in the past. It took maybe 4 hours total. We definitely needed two people for a few of the steps. Everything was well labeled and no problems with hardware or anything missing. The slide did not have the three holes drilled where it attached to the swing set, but there were indentations that we easily drilled out. Our daughters are 7 and 12 and they both can swing on it with no issues.

We had a wooden swingset for about 6 years, but unfortunately a storm destroyed that a few months ago. We decided to not go with wood again and save ourselves the extra work of staining it every year. This set seemed to match our needs as our children grew (9, 7, & 4yr old). Unfortunately the slide is almost unusable due to getting too hot with the sun. Our old one never got hot. It's very unfortunate because it is a nice set and very sturdy. Not being able to use the slide though is really disappointing, especially to our 4yr old :( Also, my 7yr old daughter who is very good on Monkey bars is having a lot of trouble on this set. Not sure if the bars are too thick or have a different coating or what. She keeps sliding off. I'm hoping that will resolve itself somehow. The slide and monkey bars are the 2 biggest reasons we went with this set. I really want to like this set, especially since we have the Ace Flyer teeter tooter too and it makes for a nice playground setting in our yard, but so far, I wish we had gone with a different option. On the plus side, it was fairly easy for my husband to put together in only a few hours. Not anything like the last wooden one we had. The swings are also really nice and because of the grip are very easy for my 4yr old to hang on to. I like the earthtones color that blend nicely into the backyard and even though its quite large, you don't just get distracted by swingset when you look in the yard.

I purchased this set on 06/18/13 & assembled it with the help of a neighbor on 06/29/30. Instructions were very clear. Parts & hardware fit & work perfectly. Took us about 3.5 hours to assemble - not bad for two 64 year olds in the heat & humidity of south Louisiana. The set is large, so make sure that your yard is big enough. My grandchildren will enjoy it for many years. The quality & sturdiness is top-notch!

We purchased this set to replace a wooden playset that was about 5 years old that was on the verge of falling apart. After looking at various wooden and metal playsets, I decided to spend a little extra $$ and get this, as opposed to another wooden set, and I am glad I did! We ordered online through Sam's and it was delivered in a large crate by freight company. Delivery was in a timely manner. It is packed/shipped as several large sections/assemblies that you put together. It took my husband about 5-6 hours to assemble (I helped a couple of times to hold/lineup a few larger parts when he was attaching), but everything went together well. We bought the natural/green set and it looks great in the backyard, blends in without calling to much attention to itself. I am so pleased with the QUALITY of this set. Heavy-duty metal tubing and the accessories (swings/trapeze bar/slide) are MUCH more sturdy than one that came with our previous wooden set. We have 2 boys (6&8-tall for their age) and is still a useable size for them. My guess is, by the time they "outgrow" this set, we will disassemble it and give to someone else and it will still be in great condition. If you're looking for a great, sturdy playset - this definitely fits the bill!

Recently purchased the Lifetime Monkee Bar Adventure Swing set and can honestly say it exceeded my expectations. The booklet with directions and parts list made it so easy to assemble that I was able to complete assembly with minimal help. All pre-drilled holes matched up perfectly and inserting hardware was easy and all parts and hardware was packaged and numbered to correspond with parts list.Assembly took about 8 hours over three days ( had to stop to pick up granddaughters from school ) The quality of the material, welding and powder coating is exceptional! The 2,4 and 10 years old granddaughters have given this play set their seal of approval and I agree 100 percent!
