We bought the Saxony XL Grill Gazebo in July and due to vacations and other projects finally got it assembled and water sealed. It turned out beautiful and we are still trying to decide what lights we might want to add. It really adds character to our small space. As you can see in the picture we had to make some modifications due to the fact we Muslims have measured wrong somewhere. We had to put the little side bars inside but it still looks great and it works for us. Theo whole gazebo is very solid and I couldn’t ask fo ag better plan. We bought this for our deck as we needed a bit of shade. It is absolutely perfect! We aren’t that handy at putting things together but we accomplished it and are actually still married!!😂 It is very sturdy and just the right amount of shade we needed!

This has been a five star exp from the start. Great communication with the shipper. The detailed instructions were easy to follow. All the parts were there and every aligned perfectly making assembly easy. It did take us a couple of days but the end results exceed our expectations.

I bought the Saxony XL grill gazebo two years ago and assembled it by myself. If you are assembling it by yourself, I recommend assembling the roof on the top, unlike I did… This has withstood two winters in New England, with a lot of snow last winter. The Cedar wood remains very strong, clean (as advertised), and the overall product is very durable. This gazebo provides a really enjoyable way to cook in the outdoors without an outdoor kitchen. I recommend this to anyone looking for a nice entertainment/grilling area with the right space for it.

This is a well engineered product. The instructions were clear and the materials are very good. Take your time and it will turn out well. I did enclose the back side with 8' cedar fence pickets. I also built a TV cover to match.

I purchased my Backyard Discovery Saxony XL grill gazebo to for our outdoor grill station. All of our parts were in great condition and install was pretty straightforward. It’s great having a place to cook and serve hot off the griddle or smoker . Couldn’t be happier with the purchase.

This review is actually of our XL Saxony Grill pergola…just finally finished installing last week. The pergola was easy to put together. Instructions were very clear, and 3d view was very helpful. My wife and I put as much as possible together in preparation for our sons joining us to connect the four posts and add the roof…it now houses our original outdoor kitchen. It is our 2nd Backyard Discovery pergola (you can see in the picture, behind the Saxony XL, our Arcadia Pergola, which we use primarily for concerts and movies). Next week we are putting together the smaller Saxony pergola to house a smoker and pizza oven. We LUV Backyard Discovery products!,

I bought and assembled my grill gazebo earlier this month. The kit was very well packed and came with all the necessary hardware including some extras! The directions were fairly easy to follow but you need to pay attention to the details in the pictures. I found it easier to build the roof structure and mount it before installing the roof panels. It was much lighter to lift with two people. Once installed, we added the roof panels one by one using two ladders. The gazebo looks great and is very functional. I have both my pellet grill/smoker and BBQ side by side under the gazebo!!

We bought our grill gazebo about a month ago and were able to put it together this weekend. It took us about six hours. Most parts lined up well, some needed “coaxing”. Overall we are very pleased with the results and love the way it looks on our patio. It is our second outdoor structure from Backyard Discovery.
