[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These vanity fair extra absorbent napkins are excellent! They are great for soaking up spills. They are the most absorbent napkins I have ever tried. They are nice and thick, so you don't need a ton of them. One really will do it. They can soak up a big spill or a messy sauce with ease. They are the best napkins I have tried by far.

I tried these extra absorbent napkins for the first time after 30 years of using the original. All I could think of was that I felt like I was wiping by mouth with a paper towel, extremely unpleasant. If what you want is the absorbency of a paper towel, then use a paper towel. These are fit for BBQ's and picnics, and that's it. I will not use for at home meal times. I can't speak highly enough of the original, and don't know what I will do if they ever stop making them.

I love the feel of them, it’s like using real cloth napkin only disposable. Definitely recommend everyone use these for the holidays but are perfect for all occasions.

I love how smooth the outside of it is, with the inside absorbent texture like a nice paper towel. They work well for spills, which most fancy napkins lack.
