Cheap, Rough, No Design! DO NOT BUY!

New napkins are NOT the same design or quality of "Vanity Fair Dinner Napkins"! They do NOT have the imprinted design which is not necessary, but a nice feature when entertaining. Napkin size is much smaller. Napkins are not as soft as previous ones. These napkins are like using a folded paper towel. I've been buying Vanity Fair Dinner Napkins from Sams for years and these are definitely not the same! I will not buy them again!

Essentially folded paper towels - not napkins.

These are paper towels, essentially, folded. I saw them and incorrectly thought, "Hurray, Sam's is finally carrying the nice Vanity Fair napkins Again..." No - these are NOT the nice Vanity Fair napkins. I think Sam's has forever replaced the nice Vanity Fair napkins ( still available in regular grocery stores) with the Sam's version of that nice napkin. They make more money on their own brands, I'm sure. This Vanity Fair napkin is so bad that we will not use it. Even my husband was very negative about it. So - stay away from this if you think it's a nice napkin. Its not. There is a picture of BBQ on it - and maybe that would be an ok use for it - Outdoor BBQ. I wouldn't use these inside my house in the place of a napkin. They really are just folded soft paper towels.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it

Worst idea ever to change a wonderful elegant everyday napkin into a sheet of paper towel. The money that are saving in production will be lost in the lower sales. Georgia Pacific didn't have a clue as to why this product was a success for so many years. Vanity Fair was the best paper towel for softness and most importantly setting a nice table.
