I was a bit hesitant to stick with a top-loader, but this Samsung model has exceeded every expectation.The machine is incredibly quiet and doesn't tangle my clothes like my old machine did. I love the capacity ; I can finally fit a decent comforter in there without the machine "walking" across the laundry room floor during the spin cycle.The machine is a lifesaver for scrubbing stains before the cycle starts. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The best part is the Super Speed Wash. Its really fast, about 30 minutes, and still gets clothes clean! Super convenient when you're busy or just don't want to spend all day doing laundry. Also holds a lot of clothes, so I can do fewer loads. The “smart” features are actually useful. I can start or check the washer from my phone, which is nice if I forget about a load. On the downside, it doesn't use a lot of water, so you have to be careful not to overload it or use too much detergent, or your clothes might not come out as fresh. Also, you have to leave the door open after using it and clean it sometimes, or it can start to smell.

It flooded my house, ripped a hole in rubber seal after some metal part ripped through it…I only bought another because I had the matching only 3yr old dryer still working fine so didn't want to switch to another brand or type. The replacement is working well so far, will see how long it lasts.

Samsung are by far the worst appliances that exist. We bought a new home back in 2021. The home was just one year old and all the appliances are Samsung. This year (exactly on the 6th year of the appliances, just shy of the extended warranty deadline ) we had our fridge broken down beyond repair. Our Stove has serious problems where if we build water or any thing that produces steam in the back burners the panel and oven completely stops working. And now the latest is our washer that started leaking, and also has balance problems, where the entire house shakes when we are doing even the small load. Samsung appliances never again.
