I decided to return to Samsung for my new washer, and after two months, no regrets!!! The washer is very quite, has no house shaken banging and rumbling like my suppossedly "quite drive" LG washer had. Easy to use controls, sharp looking washer that cleans very well! Great feature that it connects to my Samsung watch and phone to let me know when the laundry is done... can also sync with Alexa to announce when laundry is done. No mustty odor from the washer as I have noticed from other front load washers over the years. The steam cycle is great, it cleans thoroughly and the laundry comes out nearly dry! Delivery and setup was excellent! Very happy with the purchase!

However, a major downside to this washer is the pungent scent within the drum. I have had to run the self-clean cycle twice to lessen its pungency, although it still lingers in the drum and on the first clothes washed in it.

Old was 24 minutes, new 19 minutes and now the cycle when complete shows up on the TV. She likes that also. If the dryer goes out again, will replace that too.

We purchased new above model. Looks very similar. Can't be more pleased at its performance! Found stored tubs of baby clothes 20 yrs old. My new washer has been working hard washing. It's quiet! The spin is so efficient that the clothes are practically dry when you transfer to the dryer. Thus, spending less electricity drying the clothes. The 3 compartments for detergent, bleach and softener is very convenient. Quieter than our last samsung we had for almost 13 years. Very satisfied with this purchase.

So many different settings, but love the quick wash and quietness with this machine. So far it seems to clean better than our previous Samsung!
