Very sorry I purchased this product. It claims to hold 200 lbs yet with only 75 lbs it bends and started leaning over sideways! Not forward or backwards, but sideways! And I had made it a three shelf and two shelf set up thinking it would be sturdier! I would be afraid to actually make it the 5 shelf system it shows! Get a metal one!

Do not recommend these unless it is in an air conditioned room and using less that half of stated weight load. Bought two of these and assembled one for use in our storage shed. During the current heat wave the shelves of the unit severely sagged causing the unit to become unstable. The top shelf was the worst and it had around 20 pounds on it. Returned the unassembled unit and will return the other when we replace it with a steel one.

These looked pretty solid when I set them up but they are now bowed significantly with only two tubs of clothes, not over 60lbs to be sure. The shelf is rated for 200lbs. At 200lbs/shelf they would snap I guess, you certainly couldn't fit things on the shelf below.

Excellent shelves which are easy to build and priced right. Bought two of them. Unfortunately only four stars because one was missing two of the posts that support the shelves so it could only be assembled into a four tier shelf. However both came with double sets of small parts so you could build two separate shelves as illustrated in the instructions. You really do need a mallet to assembly them properly - the posts don't fit firmly into the shelves otherwise. I would also heed the warnings in the instructions about weight - 1000 lbs only if secured to a wall with the supplied brackets with heavy items only on the two lower shelves.

Why the heck did they change it to yellow? It was all black before and it looked much better no matter where you use them. I'd change it to 5 stars if they still had the one-color available since it's now useless indoors

These are, by far, the best plastic shelves I've purchased. They are a full 20 in deep and have height adjustable feet for uneven floors. Each shelf is designed in a way that you can easily clean it without it capturing a bunch of dust and crud over the years. One of my favorite features is the interlocking tabs. We have six of these in the basement and they are standalone in the middle of the room. Being able to interlock three units end to end and back to back provides a solid block of shelving that doesn't need to be attached to the wall. Like all plastic shelving, you'll have a few pieces of over molding that needs to be trimmed off with the box cutter but that isn't a big deal.

These are great shelving units for the price. I've seen reviews that say they collapse. I haven't had that issue. I would put the heaviest items on the bottom shelves and lighter items on the top. Instructions are on the back of the label. I'll be buying more.
