Meal preparation

The plastic is thinner than I anticipated and some of the lids have to be pried off.

These are perfect for meal prep and leftovers!

Perfect size

Light weight, but dishwasher safe. On the top rack anyway. I have not put them on the bottom

Old Bentgo container was made of STRONGER material.

Liked old containers better

These meal prep containers are alright. I wouldn't buy them again though. My first issue with them is it's very difficult to get the lids off. It's almost like you're going to break the lid just trying to get it off. My second issue (which is the icing on the cake) is that I put the 4 cup container in my dishwasher. Which was the first time and now it's warped. It's too bad I can't return, because I would. I'm not happy with these and I'm very disappointed.

Wouldn't recommend

My daughter was spending too much money eating out everyday for lunch. I was trying to figure out how to help her with her budget when I ran across this 90 piece meal  prep 
kit from Sam’s. 
After reading the description of what was included and the low price I made the purchase. 
My daughter lives 140 miles away and I was excited to visit and show her what I had purchased for her. 
We spent the weekend shopping for food for the upcoming work week and enjoyed our time cooking together. 
She let me know this past weekend that the meals were perfect and that she saved around $40.00 for the week vs. eating fast food. 
My job as a dad was teaching her how to eat healthier all while saving money. 
I made sure I kept some of the meal prep containers for myself.
