Cool refrigerator with a few MAJOR flaws:
Cons
NO ADJUSTABILITY I should say nominally adjustable since there are some interior adjustments such as the dividers for the middle drawer, with a variable temperature. In the main cabin, however, you're stuck with the one layout. Okay, there's one shelf that can be lowered, but I don't think anyone would choose that because it would severely limit the number of "tall" things in your fridge.
Let's start with the top shelf. The top shelf only has one position and it's 6 inches from the top of the unit. This is fine for all the little things, but gets ridiculous if you fill it up (which for a family of 5, happens quickly). I wish it could be lowered just a little bit to give a bit more grabbing space, or visibility to the things in the back. I've never hated a top shelf more than I hate this one.
Middle Shelf: TWO options! 7.5" or 10.5" below the top shelf. I don't think the 7.5" would EVER be helpful since most of the tall things that would go into the refrigerator would be 8" to 10" tall. Right now I have at least 15 things that are taller than 7.5". Keep in mind, a typical bbq sauce bottle is 8" tall. This really means, there's only ever ONE layout configuration that would ever make sense.
FULL WIDTH shelves. This is one of my most hated features that I had no idea I'd hate. I've had french door style fridges in the past and I never understood that one of the benefits is adjustable shelves per left vs right half! This Samsung bespoke decides to kill any hope to a useful layout by making the shelves span the entire width! This just makes the refrigerator a complete mess. I would LOVE to have one side have the 7.5" height between top and middle shelf, and the other half the 10.5". This would make the refrigerator much more useful - I would have given this a 4-star review if the shelves were half widths.
WEAK HARDWARE: In less than a year, I already have a crack on the base of the main fridge area. Yes I have children, but I've had kids for 14 years and none of my other refrigerators have EVER gotten cracks in the main casing areas. I already have cracks on the side drawers as well. This is not covered under warranty so if it ever continues to crack to not being usable, I look forward to never dealing with a bespoke again.
PROS
ADORABLE! This is truly a cute and gorgeous fridge from the outside. Our whole family draws on it with dry/erase markers. We can play games of hangman on it too!
ADJUSTABLE shelf: Okay, there's one little feature that is adjustable: The middle shelf has a little slider feature so the shelf becomes more of a "U", or rather, a little square gets pushed back so if you ever have something that's really tall, it can span from the bottom up to the top shelf. I hope that makes sense.
FUN DRINK STATION: The drink station is fun. It's been a year and I still love stocking it with our favorite juice boxes, sparkling waters, etc, and having the always cold and filled water pitcher. The pitcher even comes with a little place to keep limes/lemons to have lime/lemon-infused water! Love it!
WATER FILTER: Water filter is super easy to replace!
MIDDLE DRAWER: I love having a middle drawer accessable on its own. It's a great way to keep cold cuts, cheeses, etc. AND it has it's own temp settings.
ICE CUBES: Having two sizes of ice cubes was and remains fun for me. Larger cubes for my nightly bourbons. Smaller cubes for the refreshing glasses of America's best soda: ROOT BEER.
FREEZER: I dunno - our family has a lot of frozen stuff so our freezer is crammed full. I'm ambivalent but it works!
OVERALL: Even though I LOVE many of the features, the absolutely terrible configuration of the main fridge area combined with the cheap frame - I would NEVER buy one again.
