This set is more than worth the cost - but if you do the math, it is a superior deal!! I have used these for years and, as a banquet for hungry mosquitos everywhere, I hate to camp then be miserable outside. We usually burn two of these thermal units at a time and when we do, the skeeters stay clear of me. No need for chemicals on your body and it is effective.

This is a great product that really works for me. I usually get covered with mosquito bites. Once I started using the repeller and the refills, I may have had one or two bites all summer long.

These work!!! I can’t find any other thing that works as well as the thermocells do. I’ve tried everything from home remedy’s to body spray repellent or those bracelets and the tiki torches. Nothing compares the these. The mosquitoes literally are gone. Other remedies would still result in my having a couple bug bites any way. I never have any when I have the thermocell going. I’ve been a user of this product for three years now, IT WORKS!!!!

We first used Thermacell for a camping trip on the lakes of Northern Minnesota. The system is so effective that we had no issues with mosquitoes despite the massive population of them in that area. Now we use them at home all summer, both in the portable belt-worn burners and in the stationary patio burners. They are a little expensive to operate but we think they still have great value because we are free of mosquitoes and from putting repellent on our bodies. I always recommend these to friends and family. Most people have never heard of Thermacell and are very curious about it.

Before Thermacell as early evening approached I had to go inside to avoid mosquitos. Now I can enjoy my farmers porch right through dusk and after sunset. One Thermacell under my covered porch keeps things bug free. We had a back yard party with 150 people and I live out in the woods. I had several Thermacells spread through out the yard and people actually made comments about "you don't have mosquitos here?" I'd show them the Thermacell and they were stunned on how well they work!

We live in Houston, TX and just built a new patio. I was looking for something portable without chemicals or sprays and found this product online with excellent reviews. Our patio is 25x20 so I bought 2 and they exceeded my expectations from day one. We are able to sit outside from early morning until late at night without getting attacked by mosquitoes. Very easy to use and I like that they are portable and lightweight. They advertise that they cover a 15x15 area but we found that it's more like a 10x10 but for the price we just bought a second one so it's not a big deal. The only negative so far is the butane to cartridge ratio. Each package comes with 3 filters and one butane cartridge. Ideally, they would run out at the same time but we are on our 5th refill and the butane does not last as long as the filters. So now I have extra filters and need to buy just the butane. Overall, the price and effectiveness of the product easily outweigh the negative aspect.

If You Enjoy being Outside in the Evenings as We do (South Alabama) And mosquitoes want to carry you off like they do here the Thermacell is what you need to help prevent modi from ruining your evening. We set it out about 10 minutes before we want to go sit outside and that’s it! No Mosquitoes and No Smells. We Love Our Thermacell’s.

I must say that we were actually able to sit out on our deck and not be eaten alive! It does really work! Cons: the fuel doesn't last that long. And, if you are like us, we don't always remember to turn it off...burns thru all of the fuel in one evening

I absolutely love this product! I was skeptical at first because I've tried so many products, but I was very impressed with this. We are surrounded by woods and have a hard time keeping mosquito's at bay even with profession sprays. This worked perfectly. Not a single bite after being outside for hours. The only down side I found was that you only get one container of fluid with your purchase and if you're outside a lot, you go through it pretty quickly. Other than that, I loved the product!!

Thermacell products are amazing. We purchased 1 unit that worked so well, we bought 6 more. Our group of 20 sit in a circle every night on vacation and none of us spray with bug spray. We are on the bank of a large lake that provides millions of mosquitoes. The units work that good. We put them on the ground between two chairs around our circle. No problems. The reason for 3 stars is there is no longer an option to purchase just mats for original Thermacell units. Your forced to purchase mats and fuel both. Please go back to either option again rather than forc in ng us to spend more money.
