This product leaves an oily residue on my dishes that is clear, so you think the dishes are wet, but if you ingest the oily residue it has a strong chemical taste and makes your mouth numb for a while. Right now I'm running an extra rinse cycle after the regular wash cycle, but I don't like wasting water and electricity so I'll be switching brands. My dishwasher is new and well maintained so that's not the issue.

My dishes always come out squeaky clean (literally squeaky) and the dishwasher smells nice after the load is finished. No musty smell/remnants of food smell. Great product, very convenient as opposed to handwashing everything.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pods are easy to use.The scent seems quite pleasant. It does clean the dishes well (eg. grease, etc.) However, sometimes I found the plastic thing didn’t melt completely, and left some residual on my dishes. Other than that, it works nice!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a longtime user of Cascade brand. I loved these just as much. It definitely thoroughly cleaned the dishes in the dishwasher really well and didn’t leave any gunk from the pod anywhere in there.

All of our dishes came out clean with the exception of one spoon that had crusted on food and was positioned poorly in the dishwasher, but that would be true of any dishwashing pod! With that being said, the cleaning power didn’t seem significantly better than other brands/types I’ve used. What really bumped it up a star for me was the fresh scent, which I feel like is not something you typically get with dishwashing pacs. You know that feeling when you’ve just cleaned your whole house and light a candle and everything is right in the world? That’s how these pacs smell. I’d definitely recommend if you’re looking for a slightly elevated, fresh (pun-intended) dishwashing experience, but if you don’t care about scent then it’s probably not worth the upgrade.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually use the regular Cascade dish washer soap which works great but using the Cascade Platinum Plus Action Pacs they work even better. I don't even have to rinse the dirty dishes and it takes every food stains from all the dishes.

Baked on food or stuck on food is completely cleaned. No need for any additives. Dishes and glassware are sparkling. I am always amazed - no spots or streaks. Big time saver. I love the way it saves water. Easy open storage container. I even used it on a friend’s wine glasses that were cloudy and the results were remarkable. Dissolves completely in the wash so nothing left. Fresh clean smell. Cascade Platinum Plus is reliable. The best! I use it every day. It has a permanent spot on my list of cleaning supplies.

We tried other dishwashing detergent brands before, name brand and off brands but we always keep coming back to cascade platinum! It’s so simple to just load our dishes and add an action pac and start the dishwasher. We don’t have to pre-rinse our dishes at all! Not even the really dirty ones. They all come out clean.

So far, they do a great job at cleaning the dishes and mostly preventing water spots on glasses and silverware. The scent is nice and fresh, but not too strong which I appreciate. I think I would definitely purchase these instead of the regular platinum ones.
