I really like this product overall though. It gets the job done. The cleaning powers awesome and if you have a dishwasher, definitely take advantage of this product. It's a great one. The scent is also refreshing and not too overpowering.

I love that this is a smaller sample that I could just take with me on a short trip. The smell is not too overpowering and is just a nice clean scent. I've tried different detergents - powder, liquid, pods. I've tried different brand dishwashers. No joy. But this Cascade Platinum Plus detergent has me using the dishwasher again. They took on even the toughest jobs far as heavily soiled cookware that at times I could get away with not scraping them off beforehand! Also, these are able to clean full loads in one try, no need for annoying and wasteful rewashing. The fragrance is very pleasant and refreshing, but it does linger a bit too long than I like. This is way more distracting when I toss my reusable water bottles and baby dishware in the dishwasher, but at least I don't actually taste it. Still very effective in cleaning my dishes, and very compatible with steam + sanitize machines!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had high hopes for Cascade Platinum Plus ActionPacs given the brand reputation and the premium price, but unfortunately, they didn’t live up to the expectations. I honestly didn’t notice any improvement over the off-brand dishwasher pods I’ve used in the past—in fact, some of the cheaper ones have done a better job. Dishes often came out with spots or a slight film, especially on glassware, and food residue wasn’t removed even though I am pretty diligent about rinsing dishes well and there isn’t much to remove. Also grease wasn’t removed. The scent is strong but it didn’t bother me. I expected better performance considering these are marketed as a top-tier option. For the cost, I was hoping for consistently clean, sparkling dishes without needing to rewash or pre-rinse everything. Overall, I don’t feel these pods justify the price, especially when there are more affordable alternatives that perform just as well or better.

These Cascade pods do the work to get the dishes and utensils clean without lime deposits. I hate having to rewatch dishes by hand when the load doesn’t fully clean. I love these Cascade pods.

I've had it since the late 2000s. I normally have to lightly wash and rinse everything before running the dishwasher. This time, in order to put these pods to the test, I just scraped off the food, loaded them up, and started the washer just like the package said to do. I was absolutely blown away buy the results. These pods absolutely ate through all the dirt and grime on my dishes. I was sceptical, but the results made me feel like I had one of those fancy new dishwashers. I would highly recommend these Cascade Platinum Plus Dishwasher Pods to anyone who wants to cut down on the time it takes to do dishes and to help save some water. The price is absolutely worth the time and effort saved.
