We're sorry this occurred with many of your coffee mugs, Stephanie. We have multiple automatic dishwashing labs to conduct thorough testing on all Cascade formulas, and each goes through a rigorous combination of testing on all types of dishes, serving ware, glassware, and utensils which are labeled dishwasher safe. All of these tests are run in multiple brands of dishwashers and cycles to ensure the product is safe across a broad range of conditions. Only put dishwasher-safe items in the dishwasher, and dishwasher safe labeling is decided by the manufacturer. When in doubt, we recommend that you wash by hand. If this did occur with items that were rated as dishwasher safe, you may want to return them to the store or manufacturer. We’d like to learn more about your experience to see how we can further help. Please give our Cascade Team a call at 1-800-765-5516 from 9AM -– 6PM EST Monday–Friday.
