I purchased this to replace an American brand rice cooker which was cheaper. This cooker has more functions for sure. But most importantly the rice is cooked better than the cheaper American brand.

It works like a charm and it's so much better than the basic rice cooker we had for years. Everything about it is much better quality including the way the rice turns out. No regrets with the purchase!
