Stearns & Foster Estate Tight Top Mattress Set (Available in Soft, Firm, and Ultra Firm)

This is our second Sterns and Foster. We were pleased with the first one, which lasted a long time. Naturally, we wanted another. So far, it's very comfortable and firm, which is what we wanted. We're happy.

Perfectly firm

Absolutely love it

I needed a quality firm mattress, because I have spinal stenosis. This mattress is just what the doctor ordered. No more tossing and turning at night. I sleep like on baby on this mattress. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

OMG!!!!

A vast improvement! I'm so glad that I went with a more expensive mattress. Very comfortable. I wake up feeling refreshed. I can't wait to get back in bed. Quality is outstanding.

Quality bed

Mattress is hard as a rock. Like sleeping on the sidewalk. Display model in the store was nothing like this. Now need to go get a new mattress.

It's been a couple of weeks and I absolutely love this bed. It's soft yet firm, best furniture upgrade we made.

Soft yet firm

Forget a chiropractor or physical therapist. All you need is this extra firm mattress. No more aches and pains. I love it!!

The firmest mattress out there.

We needed a new mattress for the past couple of years and are very happy that we purchased this one. Extremely satisfied.

Waited too Long to Purchase

We purchased the Estate medium firm which we tested in the store. This is our third Sterns and Foster mattress but this new design is awful. 
 As soon as it arrived we called the store thinking, despite the label, they had sent us  the firm in error as the bed was very hard. We were told it needed time for the top to release.
 It's now been just over a year, it is still very hard and has developed deep body wells and I now have spinal back pain. We rotate this mattress monthly and even rotate a quarter turn sleeping on it cross-wise. 
 We have had an expert inspect it and the result is the wear is “normal” so there is nothing we can do. 
 We are looking for alternatives and will need to donate a near-brand-new mattress to find comfort. We are so disappointed.

Too Hard with Body Wells Hard to Sleep

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this mattress about 2 months now and have had excellent sleep each night. The firm and pillowtop combination has been awesome. I normally sleep on my side, but even naps on my back or all night with congestion gave me a great night of rest.
