It has a smooth plush top that has amazing comfort. After sleeping on it a few nights I noticed I no longer had back and body aches. It felt like it was really sleeping on a cloud of pillows. This mattress retains heat like no other mattress I have ever owned. My husband and I both wake up frequently tossing and turning trying to find a cool spot on the bed. It is almost tolerable in winter, but I am dreading warmer weather. I would have given it 1 star but my husband does like the support for his back. I can't wait to get a new mattress and we've had this one less than two years. It is already getting dips and lumps too. Also it is very heavy which makes it difficult to tuck the sheets under.

This mattress sits higher than what I'm used to so it took some time getting adjusted in and out of bed. I will make say there were stitches or loss strings in the mattress that should have been cut before selling. Major plus my back feels great so far.

I am 62 and bought the Estate Collection Firm Pillow Top mattress with adjustable frame 127 days ago. My old mattress was soft and caused back and hip pain so I opted for the mattress with the firm topper. I am a back and side sleeper. Although the mattress initially felt comfortable and luxurious it started agitating my back and hips and I feel pain within 10 minutes of getting up in the morning that lasts all day. Unfortunately, I cannot return the mattress (trial period expired) and it was a very expensive purchase for me. I'm considering buying a Tempur-Pedic topper to see if that gives my back and hips some relief. I wish I had purchased a mattress with a medium topper instead. The medium one may have given me that hotel level luxury sleep I was striving for.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mattress is everything a person needs to get a great comfortable sleep. The material is soft but not too soft. Almost like sleeping on clouds. There is handles on the sides for easy lifting and moving around.

We have absolutely nothing but good things to say about this mattress. There was no adjustment period for us. We did go from a Stearns and foster queen to a Stearns and foster king. The comfort we find with these mattresses are superior to anything we have had before. The king gave us the extra room for us and the queen which is over ten years old has been transferred to the extra bedroom for guests and has held up quite nicely! Feeling like this mattress was made specifically for us!

It's firm enough to not hurt my back but the pillow top provides enough comfort to give me a good solid nights rest. When I wake up I am fully rested and not sore at all. I would definitely recommend deep pocket sheets to keep them from popping off while you sleep. It's a great mattress, and the handles make it really easy to move around when needed.
