As someone who loves to bake and cook, I depend greatly on my stand mixers for preparing large batches of doughs. This mixer is by far the best and most powerful I have yet to own, as it has 11 speeds to choose from, with half-speed options. The bowl is simple to secure and with 5.5 quart capacity, I never have issues with dough quantity in my home! This mixer comes with several attachments-- including a wire whip, large and small, dough hook, etc.. Operation is simple and flawless, and this unit is quiet and simple to clean. I adore the beautiful blue color, as it is classic and chic. Just such a wonderful addition to any bakers kitchen!

With 2x the power in the bowl than my old tilt head mixer, this bowl-lift version can mix even the toughest of ingredients with ease. The 3-point locking bowl provides stability for mixing heavy, dense ingredients, giving me complete control and precision over my baking. I love the 11 distinct speeds, including 1/2 speed, which allows me to adjust the speed according to my needs, no matter what I'm using the mixer for. The 5.5 quart capacity gives me plenty of space to cook or bake to my heart's desire. The attachments are incredibly easy to attach and detach, making it effortless to switch between tasks. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have wanted a Kitchenaid mixer for about 20 years. I finally got myself one. I love it so much. I purchased it on sale and it came with an extra bowl and whip attachment for it along with a spoon made to help clean it and push down the sides. It helped a lot having the extra bowl. My daughters and I have made cakes and icing, brownies, cornbread and all kinds of goodies. Next we are doing cookies. I love the 1/2 speed option on it as well.

I have many of your appliances in my kitchen: microwave, dishwasher, food processor etc. This was my second stand mixer. Bought it to up grade my 20+ year old machine. Wanted to try the pro model and loved the color. I had to learn the new features, but once past the trial period, I love it! My daughter was very happy too because she was the recipient of my first mixer to bless her kitchen.

I use my Aid to: make bread, cakes, candies and frostings. I also use my Kitchen Aid to prep vegetables for canning and to grind meats for sausage. I can survive happily without a lot of things,but not my Kitchen Aid and attachments!🎉

I bought a KitchenAid Professional HD Stand Mixer from Sam's several years ago. I love it and use it often for bread, sausage, and many other recipes. Here is how strong and well-built it is: I was making bread one day and the dough was on the tough side. I was not paying attention to the mixer, and it was bouncing on the counter. It jumped off the count onto the floor. The only damage was to the little accessory door for attachments. The machine still works without any worries. It jumped because of how strong the motor is.
