I use my Aid to: make bread, cakes, candies and frostings. I also use my Kitchen Aid to prep vegetables for canning and to grind meats for sausage. I can survive happily without a lot of things,but not my Kitchen Aid and attachments!🎉

As someone who loves to bake and cook, I depend greatly on my stand mixers for preparing large batches of doughs. This mixer is by far the best and most powerful I have yet to own, as it has 11 speeds to choose from, with half-speed options. The bowl is simple to secure and with 5.5 quart capacity, I never have issues with dough quantity in my home! This mixer comes with several attachments-- including a wire whip, large and small, dough hook, etc.. Operation is simple and flawless, and this unit is quiet and simple to clean. I adore the beautiful blue color, as it is classic and chic. Just such a wonderful addition to any bakers kitchen!

I bought a KitchenAid Professional HD Stand Mixer from Sam's several years ago. I love it and use it often for bread, sausage, and many other recipes. Here is how strong and well-built it is: I was making bread one day and the dough was on the tough side. I was not paying attention to the mixer, and it was bouncing on the counter. It jumped off the count onto the floor. The only damage was to the little accessory door for attachments. The machine still works without any worries. It jumped because of how strong the motor is.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few months ago when my Artisan mixer started to cut off while using it. My old mixer was about 17 years old. It was a gift. My stand mixer is nice but I liked the tilted heard mixer better. It’s taking me a while to understand how to clean my blades and wipe down the bowl without removing the bowl. I’m learning how to work with it. I love my mixer and wish I could have two, then my grandma could work beside me. I’ll never buy anything else. I thought it would be heavy but it’s not much heavier than my old mixer. Now I need a few accessories to go with it.

I debated between a lift bowl and a lift mixer head for a bit because I've had both in the past and there are pros to both. In the end, this model is sturdier and can handle larger quantities of dough and mix. The engine feels more powerful than the smaller models as well.

I had been using a different brand stand mixer for years and had no idea what I was missing out on or how much better the KitchenAid brand is. It’s like going from Chevy to a Rolls Royce; there’s just no comparison in the quality. This thing is a power horse and can handle the thickest dough without slowing down at all. I whipped up a batch of whipped cream almost as quickly as opening a container of store bought stuff, and it tasted so much better. I joined a FB group for sharing KitchenAid mixer recipes and found so many things I can’t wait to try…I haven’t been this excited about cooking in years! I love the blue color of this mixer; it’s a cheerful, robin egg blue and brightens up my kitchen. I wasn’t sure if I would like how the bowl raises/lowers instead of having a tilt head, but I found I like it even better. I think it makes the mixer feel more sturdy and I can see inside the bowl better. I can’t wait to start buying some attachments for it and was shocked to see just how many different options there are. From pasta, to meat, to ice cream - you can do almost anything with this mixer! The attachments seem like half the fun and my Christmas list will probably never be without one from now on. If you’ve been thinking about investing in a KitchenAid stand mixer, stop thinking and just do it! Nothing else even comes close and I wish I had gotten one years ago.

I now make dozens of cookie dough from scratch in the matter of an hour vs all day when tirelessly beating the mix by hand! It also has a half speed setting so no splattering messes happen while adding ingredients. The extra attachments (flat beater, dough hook splatula, and 2 wisks) were a fantastic surprise that makes this completely ready for use straight out of the box! This mixer is built to last and built to do so many things! I have made cookies, pupusas, mashed potatoes and banana bread in one week!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my machine weekly. I’ve made cookies, brownies, breads, muffins, bagels, and more. My only two gripes are that the pink wasn’t more widely available, AND this is advertised as able to handle bread but it actually doesn’t really do it well. The whole thing starts moving around heavily and if you join Reddit groups they all say the same and also they will mention that bread doughs will burn out the motor. I only use my machine for bread doughs for a couple min and finish with my hands, just so I don’t ruin my machine. Other than those two, I love it.
