I bought this mattress for my mom & dad as a gift, they absolutely LOVE it! My dad has sleep apnea, so he hast to sleep on his back and my mom has multiple medical problems, including an autoimmune disease that affects her muscle muscles, she is in constant pain. Both of my parents said the mattress is so comfortable that they are able to comfortably sleep through the night and their pain has lessened. They are thrilled with this mattress, and I am thrilled for my parents that the mattress has been so good for their health.

My husband severally broke his neck four years ago. After several surgeries, metal plates, brackets and screws he can only sleep flat on his back, all night, every night! And every night he would snore, very loudly. I ended up sleeping in another room. The first night on our new StearnsandFoster bed I was able to sleep the entire night with him. He didn't snore! I wish I could send a picture to show how bad blue cheap material looks just after a few months of regular use. It looks awful! My old twenty years old mattress looked better when I decided to replace it! It looks bad like an old cheap pullover and they call it “ lux” ? Don ‘t be fooled by how pretty it looks in the store. Buy a different brand with real quality material that lasts for years.

We love this mattress. After changing 3 different mattresses we finally found the one that we can sleep without waking up in pain. We have the soft tight top. I am really surprised this is the definition of soft, but the mattress feels really comfortable yet very stable.

I wish I knew how heavy this mattress was going to be, we have a difficult time tucking in the sheets and blanket. Our old mattress did not sag in the middle, I have to work myself to the side with this one. I also wake up in the middle of the night now since we bought this mattress with pain in my hands, I've tried changing pillows but it doesn't make a difference. Turning the mattress is a real chore. I did not read reviews before buying.

My father used to own a furniture store years ago in Portland OR. He swore by Sterns and Foster mattresses. He gave us our first S and F mattress as a married couple and we used that mattress for many years before needing a new one. I will likely pass away before I ever need another new one. The mattress I selected is half way between medium and firm and perfect for a senior like me who was used to a firm mattress. I don't like to sink into a too soft mattress as it makes my arms go to sleep whereas a medium firm one is just right (said Mama Bear to Papa Bear, Baby Bear and Goldilocks).

We purchased a King-size Stearns & Foster Estate Collection mattress (medium firmness) last year, and unfortunately, it has been a major disappointment. We sink in much more than expected and can actually feel the steel coils through the mattress, which makes it very uncomfortable to sleep on. This is the worst mattress we have ever owned, and we would not recommend it.
