The chair itself is sturdy, strong %26 portable: which is why I purchased 2 more. It's not flashy, doesn't rock or sway and doesn't have a cooler or table attached. It is a simple camp chair. I had purchased these prior and knew what I was getting. That being said I ordered the “Milky Blue” color which looks more like a light teal so they matched my Jeep for traveling. What I received was the “Cool Periwinkle” (which I had purchased previously and currently says is out of stock but is CLEARLY the color I received.) Don't get me wrong, the color is still nice but it's not the color I ordered %26 honestly I wouldn't have purchased two more if I knew they weren't going to match my car. This may seem ridiculous to somebody reading, but just be aware that if you want a particular color and expect a particular color, you may be disappointed. If color is no big deal for you; this chair serves its purpose simply and well.

bought two, both left abandoned at beach. took two brand new chairs to beach last weekend, went to leave first beach day; one of two chairs simply would not fold closed. second day at the beach...same thing with the other chair. they seem well made but, simply did not work. being i could not fit open chair in car, they were abandoned. I would avoid purchasing this chair

I have 4 of these chairs that I have had for a few years which has held up really good. I recently bought 2 more. I noticed just opening it up today that the mesh in the back is much thinner than the older 4 I have. These 2 are lighter in weight and closes much easier (I am able to close the older ones) but I feel like the quality of materials isn't as good as my older chairs. I don't think these 2 chairs will be as durable and last as long. This will probably be the last time I order them.

I purchased 2 of these chairs 2 different times summer 2025. They were comfortable and opened/closed easily at the campsite. We took them to the beach and they DID NOT close. We returned the chairs twice as and we thought it was just a bad batch last year, so we purchased 2 new chairs for summer 2026. Low and behold the same issue. After reading the enclosed i structions [reading is fundamental ... LOL]. The chairs are not to be used at the beach because sand lodves in the folding mechanism and the chair will not fold.

This is a sturdy chair. Great for camping and sports games. We found out the hard way that it is not a beach chair. Do not take this to a sandy area. The sand will get into the joints and you will no longer be able to fold it. We spent 30 minutes trying to collapse our two chairs unsuccessfully. Since they wouldn't fit unfolded in our car we just had to throw them away. Learn from our mistake and do not take these to a beach.

As a dedicated Sam's reviewer these chairs are nice when brand new but once you use them a few times you will have problems closing them. Trust me. I have been using chain wax lubricant and will see how that holds up. Totally bad design when trying to close the chair. If you get anything like sand etc good luck!

Bought this chair on Saturday, returned it on Monday. IT WOULD NOT CLOSE! When I got to counter to return it the worker said.. let me guess it wouldn't close, then chuckled a bit. She said they have been getting a lot of returns for the same reason. The chair I bought about 4 years ago still work perfectly. Not sure what they did to the design to make it so flawed.
