I am a big guy the chair fits me. Most bag chairs the bars in the front kill my legs and they sag so bad I might as well sit on a bucket and just forget shoving on the arms to escape their grasp. This chair has none of those problems. The chair fold easy, so I don't understand any of the complaints on folding. The older version of this chair (I have had for 10 years) has a latch this version uses a buckle which I find a small hassel but is not a deal breaker.

I had just bought a $105 rocker from scheels. I sat in this chair- on sale for $20- SOLD! We bought 2 and i returned the more expensive chair. Very comfy and also very sturdy for a $20 chair. We've already used them a couple times camping and we are really pleased with them.

We bought these chairs to be used on our beach day. They were good and sturdy for the beach but when we were preparing to leave we had to fight with the chair legs to close them. We had to look up a YouTube video to see if anyone else had problems with closing the chair. And sure enough there was a guy telling us to use a hammer to knock on area where the chair legs collapsed to be closed. Who has a hammer at the beach? Return

Easy to unfold, horrible to fold back. I was at the beach and one chair never folded back after three strong men tried to assist. The other chair took 15 minutes to fold. YOUTUBE showed someone using a hammer to get it folded. I wish i would’ve known earlier..

Sturdy and heavy chair. I’ve been using it at least 2-3 times per week for my children’s sports events. I like that you don’t need the bag as it comes with a shoulder strap on the chair. At first, I had a hard time closing the chair since it didn’t come with good instructions. You have to push in at the bottom and top diagonal corners to close, not at the handle bars. I would purchase again.

I’ve owned a handful of these over the years but they had broken down so I wanted to replace them. When my new chairs arrived I noticed they redesigned the clip at the back that holds the chairs closed, and I can tell that it’s going to break quickly. I never keep the bag to carry my chairs because it’s awkward to get them in and really just one more unnecessary step. That’s the whole reason I buy these — no bag needed! While this is still the case for now, once the clip breaks (which I can tell is coming soon) these chairs will be worthless to me. I can’t figure out why they changed to this cheap clip design when they had a good thing going with the previous design. I definitely won’t be buying more of these unless they go back to their old style.

I've been burned by "budget" chairs before. They're usually so low to the ground that I end up using the arms to hoist myself out, which is a pain. This chair, however, is a breath of fresh air! Its height is perfect – like a standard kitchen chair – making it effortless to get up and out. I barely even need to use the arms, and if I do, I know I won't have to strain. It feels differently sturdy and surprisingly comfortable, which makes it a bit heavier, but that's a trade-off I'll happily make for the quality. And getting it for just $20? Unbelievable! This purchase really highlighted for me that a "budget" price isn't always a true bargain. Companies often focus on the moment, not the consumer experience. For an extra $10 (or even its full price), this chair delivers happiness and ease, unlike those cheap alternatives that bring daily frustration. The chair is substantially more sturdy than typical folding chairs, unless you pay close to 2-5 times more. Also, the back does not protrude into your shoulders as so many other chairs of this kind where you sit slumped - it helps that the bottom is quite flat. The main problems are 1) folding this thing is ridiculously hard, until you realize you have to slide certain parts (check out youtube for how), 2) the cupholder setup is not adequate - you need more than one pouch for bottles, and put another for phones, etc.

Great chair! Good value so far. We got one to try; then went back for additional because we liked it so much. Very sturdy. Easy to get out of compared to many portable 'camp chairs'. Not too heavy to carry, but not light weight for backpacking or taking on a hiking trail camping. Great for by the fire. Annnnddd did I mention it was easy to get out of? (As knees get creaky this gets important!)

This chair is comfortable, affordable, and haulable! I love how compact it is, but also that it has a strap on the chair itself to be able to haul it without a pesky bag. The hard arms are great for standing up, and the frame is strong and durable. Love the color, the mesh for cooling and the drink pocket!
