It was easy to assemble. The life like parts are brilliant! My granddaughter just LOVES it.

The appearance, function and quality vs price are great for this play kitchen. Where it falls short is the assembly process. It shouldn't be as difficult as it is to put together, but the manufacturer did their best to make it so. The first pieces needed per the instructions are at the bottom of the box, so be prepared to unpack the entire thing before even starting assembly. The wooden dowels should be longer to help ensure more stability. They are really only used for indexing at their current length. Some of the holes don't line up that great. There are visible screw heads on the countertop. They are painted the same color, but it definitely reduces the perceived quality.
