50” Vizio smart TV

I bought this TV for my Mom and for the first few days it worked really well. I also have a Vizio 50” that was a gift and in my home, it would cut out and shut off during a program. This TV also did the same thing after the first week. It was so annoying, we would be watching a show and it would shut off. I also didn't like this Tv bc you can't add any apps to it like my Roku TV. This is not the type of TV I want in my home because the apps that are already installed aren't too many that I watch. But if my TV and my Mom's TV are doing the same thing, I'm different households, there has to be something wrong with how the TV is made. I returned it and bought her a Samsung instead and have no problems with it.

Can't get past the logo

Bought this tv less than a month ago and now it won't turn off unless I unplug it and when plugged in it won't go any further than the VIZIO logo on the home screen. :( Called support who had me try unplugging it & holding the power button to reset and remove the batteries from the remote and make sure none of the buttons were stuck, but nothing worked. Still working on it, probably gonna have to try and return, but bought it on clearance, so not sure how that will work.

I had a Vizio that we bought 14 years ago. Never one problem so that's why I chose this tv. This only has 3 HDMI's older one had 4. Does have a place for the antenna and then AirPlay. Which I have no clue what that is. Rather have 4 HDMI's. THEN….no place to hook up the cables for my combo dvd player???? So…………..of course you have to go to Amazon and get an adapter. Geez…it is extremely lightweight which makes it great for me. The sound quality isn't the same as the last one. Guess they want us to get a soundbar. Well, that is not happening. All in all I'm happy. Was gifted a Hisense but moved it to the spare bedroom. Talk about sorry sound..that Hinsene is horrible.

As I age it came to to the point where I had to get some opera type binoculars in order to see the small letters, not the disclaimers, but the descriptions.
