This base is the reason why you will never want to go back to old fashioned box springs ever again. The machinations help to lift, operate, tilt, and massage the mattress. It even has a light underneath the bed and can be connected via wi fi to operate the bed. This is not your grandmother's box spring. The base comes with a remote control that lets you control how you want to relax on your luxurious bed to your desire. You can sit up to read a book or do some school work or even watch a little television. You can adjust the base foot part higher than your heart level or the opposite. On top of that you have the massage function with timer. Had a long hard day at work and you just want to relax, take yourself a soothing bubble bath and after pamper yourself with a head to toe vibrating motion massage that is built in this Beautyrest - Black Luxury Base will have you sleeping like a baby. Also has a light under the base with a usb port. Awesome product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my very first time owned base with high technology and it's quite easy to use, we may need few people to set up because this base is so heavy, the cool features are adjustable head and foot, extended recline, massager, etc. Which is I can control it with wireless remote, and it's also I can connect it with my smart home device such as Google home or Alexa. The height legs are adjustable and the design is so elegant.

Being able to adjust the bed to my comfort level, AMAZING. Added bonuses: Zero G, underbed frame lighting, 'massaging' settings. Things I never knew I needed and will not be able to go back to a traditional frame. Luxuries but essentials that make the world of a difference when changing from a traditional box spring. ALSO, much taller. I don't feel the need to use a bed skirt anymore, it adds just a nice modern look.

2nd night in this bed and I noticed a huge difference in my sleep the first night! I have osteoarthritis in my lower back and any bed besides this one I’ve always slept and woke up in pain; till now! Absolutely in love with this bed! Favorite would be the zero gravity option. Con... well I don’t have one! Saw the other reviews, pretty sure I don’t have a light under my bed lol but that would be cool!

Mattress slides to much , but very comfortable. Also base makes to much noise .
