So, this is a great idea to ship a king size box spring in a smaller box, and have the customer assemble it. And it would work great, if I wouldn’t need to repair the thing to make it fit correctly. First off, one of the plastic corner pieces were broken when it arrived. I was still able to assemble the foundation despite the broken piece. However, while putting the remainder of the box spring together, about half of the predrilled holes in the slats did not line up with the “joists” below. On the positive side, the company did send me new plastic corner pieces with one phone call, one email, and a couple pics. Unfortunately, I had to disassemble nearly the entire foundation to change the broken piece. Then, when I reassembled it, the end piece of the foundation was about 1/2 inch higher than the side piece. After disassembling again, and further inspection, the manufacturer had put the original plastic piece in the wrong spot on the end piece, which may have caused it to break in the first place. I had to make corrections and repairs to their work to “make it right”.

My husband put this together and he was not very happy with the quality of the product. (Not saying it won't last but he could have made the same thing for WAYYY less money.) He followed the directions exactly, which is great, but the bed didn't fit together correctly. The height is ok, for my son, but much to short for me. Provides a good foundation for sleep but not so much worth the effort and cost.

I’m really glad we bought this foundation. It is sooo sturdy. It comes with a really helpful video on how to set it up which I highly recommend. My husband in all of his “how hard could it be?” Bravado, struggled until he finally gave in and watched the video and then he finished it in less than 10 minutes. It fit on top of our own bed frame so we got to keep our head and footboard without any modification.

No structure on the foundation/rail besides the sheet to keep it from sliding unless your foundation sits direction on the floor with the legs. I was told I could not get a refund. I’ve never had a foundation that moves in the bed frame so this was a huge disappointment. I ordered this product w/mattress and pillows. So now I’m stuck trying to configure ways to make it stay in place.

I cannot tell how much I wish I would have just gone to my local furniture store to pick up Boxspring/Foundation. First of all what Ghostbed calls a "Boxspring/Foundation", is really just a bunch of cheap rotten pieces of wood that you have to screw together to make a basic box shape. And then throw a basic fitted sheet over it. There is literally nothing else. On top of that, they charge as much, if not more than a REAL Boxpring/Foundation. I love my mattress but I hate this foundation. It squeaks so much when you move around. And I dont think it will last more than a year. Every time I move, Im scared one of those rotten pieces of wood will break. Also its non-refundable, so save your time and money and just go pick one up at your local furniture store.

The bed was easy to set up. I bought the Ghostbed foundation and put it together by myself. And I unrolled and placed the mattress on the top as it inflated. As to sleeping, it felt firm at first but quickly softened to support my body comfortably. The edges are supportive and the foam is great, not hot at all. I am 69 and weigh about 175. I’m very glad I chose this.

We are a pretty active couple and ended up breaking our last bed frame after only a year of having it. I love my original headboard and footboard so we were specifically looking for a sturdy, heavy duty frame that can connect to our original ones. We picked the ghost bed foundation because of the good reviews and the fact that it comes with brackets and supposedly extra legs to make the bed taller for easy storage. Well, it finally came and there are only 2 brackets for the headboard and none for the footboard. Furthermore, the fabric cover that comes with the frame has openings stitched in to accommodate for the headboard brackets but none there for a footboard. So, if I was to get some sort of brackets from a hardware store to try and connect my footboard, I would have to cut holes in the frame cover to make it work . Additionally, no extra legs came with the frame like it said it would in the description, which is fine because the way the frame is designed it makes the bed very tall without having hardly any clearance for storing items under it. So, although there is adequate space under the bed to store things, you literally have to have someone lift the entire bed up on one side while another person slides things under there and same thing to get items out. Luckily we will be storing items we don’t use very often like luggage and such so it’s not a deal breaker, however, it is very annoying. All in all, it is a bed frame and it is very sturdy and doesn’t make noise, which is why I gave it 3 stars. It would be nice if they could be more specific with the description so you know exactly what you’re paying for (I.e. two brackets, 9 legs, low clearance, no accommodation to attach footboard).

We have previously bought another brand supposedly similar to Ghost. We are so happy we chose Ghost this time! There is no comparison in the quality between the two! We purchased the mattress, the all in one foundation,the mattress protector, the legs and the pillows. The combo is perfect! The foundation is easy to assemble and feels solid.

Sleeping much better now I don't want to get up for work in the morning. My wife's back pain has gone away and it's helped her insomnia so much. We even gained two children who decided mom and dad's bed was a whole lot better then theirs so now were sharing with a 4 year old and a 1 year old who randomly pop up in the middle of the night lol. So it's been better sleep for the whole famiky. Definitely going to have to buy them each their own bed. Thank you so much well love it.

The platform is very nice and sturdy. instructions should have said you need a rubber mallet to assemble. Not hard, but be ready to snap in the bars to the clips. It's not as simple as the video shows it, you need a little persuader (rubber Mallet). The reason for the two stars was the evidence of roach droppings in the plastic bag that the pars are shipped in. Very disgusting.
