Difficult to assemble. Sharp edges at both the front and bottom of the foundation. I had to create some bumpers so we wouldn't run into the corners and bruise our legs. Probably wouldn't be a problem if we were using a headboard and footboard but we weren't. Not something I would buy again.

Very easy to set-up, the box is medium size as part of the frame folds into a smaller piece; much more easy to carry than with other frames were the box is huge. It is really sturdy, very good quality, looks really nice as it comes with a frame cover. I was very happy with my purchase. Well priced.

This is a great bed. Little on the firm side when you first climb in but soon its contoured to your body and you fall asleep for a good nights sleep. The top cover is a nice design and the cooling pillows are just amazing. Would buy again if I ever needed another bed.

Ever put up with something so long and then finally replace it? That's the way it was with our mattress. Our new Ghostbed is super quiet and comfortable! There was very little adjustment period as we quickly adapted! The best part is waking up realizing that you've slept through the night and wake up refreshed with no aches and pains!!

The predrilled holes were way off center so that new holes had to be drilled or the screws had to purposely go in crooked. The cover that came with it wasn't zippered like what we saw online, so that was a bit of a surprise. It was impossible to get on straight. However, once it was finally all put together, it fit our existing frame perfectly and seems very sturdy. Good support for our new ghostbed mattress, or any other mattress we may choose to put on it.

I just finished setting up my GhostBed. It took me a whole day to get it completed. The reason was that the GhostBed Foundation was my worst experience ever (for a 'some assembly required' product). The assembly more resembled a DIY project. Materials used in the foundation frame were substandard, warped, split, broken and cracked lumber. Slats are supposed to be 2 3/8" inches wide, but if they are cracked, or missing some width, with bark still attached, GhostBed will still use them. Manufacturing tolerances don't exist since Corner Bracket connectors between end rails and side rails, as well as center rail connectors were misaligned, out of square, and up to 5/8" off from where they were supposed to be. The slats to hold up the mattress weren't long enough, and any pre drilled holes (if they were drilled at all), weren't in the right place to intersect and connect to the center rails below. When assembled (as manufactured), neither of 2 center braces, and one of side rails did not fit. Three of the rails (out of 4) were a full 5/8s of an inch above the end rails when they should have been completely flush. how After calling GhostBed customer service twice on the matter, I told by their on line voice mail, that there would only be a 3-minute wait (and on my second call, a 4-minute wait), but I was disconnected both times after waiting 20 minutes or longer before being disconnected. Realizing that it took 11 days for the bed to arrive after I ordered it, and I didn't not want to wait any longer for another foundation to arrive that may be in a similar state of poor quality, I decided to take the foundation all apart and re-drill, and rebuild it myself from scratch. I needed to re-glue several load bearing rails because they were cracked completely through, and re-drill more than 1/2 of the predrilled slat holes that hold the mattress up. I also had to re-drill and remount corner brackets and center rail connectors so that the frame would fit together properly and sit flat on flat bed frame. GhostBed may make great Mattresses, and that's why people buy them, but don't buy a GhostBed Foundation for their Foundation will not meet your expectations. Most buyers would be appalled. I suggest that GhostBed be more selective in its lumber sourcing, and start using a Jig in its Foundation manufacturing process to ensure that there is some semblance conformity and quality that comes from your factories.

been using it for about 3 weeks now. The foundation creeks a lot...every movement triggers a creek (i weight 200 pounds , it should handle that weight) It also keeps slipping on my wooden floor. Would be contacting customer service soon to identify my options and figure out if i have go a defective one or its just the way it is.

Not impressed with the foundation. It is misleading to call it a "boxspring" as there are no springs. It also required quite a bit of assembly. If you do not have a drill, this assembly will be quite difficult. Mine came to me with one piece of wood broken, and when the whole thing is assembled, it does not assemble evenly. The construction feels cheap and quick. That being said, it is doing the job just fine. I don't feel like it is going to fall apart, and it seems to be accomplishing what it needs to.

Ok, so I know what your thinking ... another review blowing smoke. I am here to tell you the truth. So let me preface this by saying I originally did not order a GhostBed. I originally ordered another mattress which shall remain nameless, and due to horrible customer service and never actually receiving the product, I gave up and started looking online again. I was weary , but GhostBed blew me away!!!! Not only was their customer service AMAZING, but the product is just as fantastic. The communication was second to none, and the fact that it actually ships within 24 hours was awesome. I had ordered 6 beds from the other company and 10 weeks later I had not received our purchase. I ordered GhostBed 1 at a time just out of an abundance of caution, and had all 6 within 1 week! I can promise you that GhostBed is a reputable company, and the product is just as good as they say! I am a disabled vet with a spinal chord injury and have not slept well in years, despite having a 6000 air bed. I've slept on the GhostBed for 3 nights and been arising rested and ready for my day! First and foremost, I want to give a huge "THANK YOU" to Matthew...when I called to order the queen foundation and the top mattress, Matt was awesome...he answered all my questions, he was very kind and knowledgeable! Thanks Matt! As for the bed...I will never buy another kind of mattress...it's like sleeping on a nice fluffy cloud that was made specifically for your body. I've never slept this well...nor has the hubs! Assembly was easier than I had anticipated and comfort was beyond my wildest dreams. I would (and have) recommend a Ghostbed to both friends and family!
