Rapid results

This seed germinated so fast! Think it will be a very lush lawn.

We are sorry for the lack of results from using our Scotts Turf Builder Grass Seed Sun & Shade Mix Going through the effort of preparing and reseeding an area only to have disappointing results can certainly be frustrating. We have sent your comments to our Quality Assurance Department to investigate any issues. We also have some seeding tips to offer that have been helpful to some of our consumers. Temperature plays a critical role in seedling germination. Soil temperatures for this particular product must be at least 55° F for the seed to germinate. For best results, daytime temperatures must typically be in the 60-80°F. range and not going below 50°F at night. Seeds will not germinate if the temperatures are cold at night, or are fluctuating from high day temperature to very low night time temperatures. We hope these extra tips are helpful. We want you to be confident in our products. For this reason, we offer a product guarantee to our consumers. At your earliest convenience, please contact us to see what can be done. We are sorry that you experienced problems while using Scotts Turf Builder Grass Seed Sun & Shade Mix. Unfortunately, we cannot be certain why your grass has died after growing well at first. Once they start growing, grass seedlings may succumb to environmental factors such as disease, insects, or extremes of temperature and moisture. This is not necessarily evidence of inferior grass seed, as even superior grass types are subject to natural stresses. We want you to be confident in our products. For this reason, we offer a product guarantee to our consumers. At your earliest convenience, please contact us to see what can be done. We apologize for the inconvenience you’ve experienced when using the product. This particular product usually has a lot of success stories from users, but it is helpful when we get reviews like yours to help us produce quality product. For Cool Season grasses like Bluegrass, Ryegrass, and different types of Fescues soil temperatures must be at least 55 degrees (+12.7 Celsius) for grass seed to germinate and can take between 4 -21 days to see germination. Warm season grasses like Bermudagrass, Centipede and Zoysia, which germinates in early summer, requires soil temperatures between 75 - 90 degrees (24 - 32 Celsius) and can take between 5-28 days to see visible germination. Watering also plays a defining factor in germination. We recommend watering 1-2 times a day until germination is visible and then watering 1- 1 ½” per week as needed. Both excessive watering and not enough watering can slow down or even stop germination of the product. If you have any other questions or concerns please feel free to contact us at http://tinyurl.com/mds8zo5 and one of our representatives would be glad to assist you. We hope this issue has not caused you to lose faith in our product, as we use reviews like yours to maintain and improve the quality product that you and other consumers have come to know and love.

We apologize for the lack of results from using our product. Going through the effort of preparing and reseeding an area only to have disappointing results is certainly frustrating. We have sent your comments as well as comments from other reviewers to our Quality Assurance Department to investigate any issues. We also have some seeding tips to offer that have been helpful to some of our consumers. Watering is critical and keeping the soil moist for the germination phase is required. It's also important for the seeds to be in direct contact with the soil. When overseeding, this may mean having to rake over the seeded area. Soil temperatures should be at least 55 degrees for proper germination and using most herbicides or weed controls can interfere with the new growth. We want you to be confident in our products. For this reason, we offer a product guarantee to our consumers. At your earliest convenience, please contact us to see what can be done.
