[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Sun & Shade seed mix works great. Had to use it under my oak trees and it's taken off since last year.

I've used Scotts Turf Builder Grass seed many times. It works great and I have hardly any weeds that come up. I work during the day so I can only water the seed in the evenings and it's no problem the seed usually remains moist from day to day.

Wait till soil is about 55 degrees, plant seed and cover lightly with mulch and wait about three weeks and you have grass. Wait till about 3 to 4 inch's tall and then mow.

Hurricane Irene messed up a large section of my back yard where there are many trees. About a 50 x 50 spot under the trees lost the grass there. Used the sun and shade mix twice, and the grass has filled in the spot and looks great... Try it....
