They will more or less "do" and that is all. The well of the candle is pretty low. It appears that you need to go out and buy new candles. I think they could have prettier if the well was not so deep.

I bought this item a few weeks ago and I am going to purchase another set. I love the remote control and the 6 hour on and 18 hours off. really works!
