The cheese is moldy. The first one we opened up is completely molded over.

Tasty and enjoyable advent calendar treat

Delicious cheese

Well worth the price!

Delicious!

Loved the selection!

Bought this 2 weeks ago. And I was very disappointed. I have purchased these Cheese Advent Calendars in the past.....This is the first one that I have thrown out most of the cheese. in the past I would purchase at least 5 of the cheese advent calendars. (and save one for December) Last year the cheese was just OK. But I love the Cheese advent calendar and I bought the 2024 calendar excited and soon to be very disappointed with the cheese. Even the plain Cheddar cheese was disappointing.

The packaging was very cute, but when I had opened them I noticed mold on 2 of the pieces. It was due to separation in the sealing around the cheese. You also don't get 24 different types of cheese. It's just a repeat of 6 flavors.

I wanted to love this but the cheese looks extremely basic and for $16 at just over 12oz of cheese its more of a novelty. I found one of the pieces to be extremely moldy and another with slight mold.

I look forward to the cheese advent calendar every year. There's always a different flavor of cheese that I never tried before, some I like and some I don't care for but that's the beauty of the advent calendar... getting a chance to try something new.
