Bought this 2 weeks ago. And I was very disappointed. I have purchased these Cheese Advent Calendars in the past.....This is the first one that I have thrown out most of the cheese. in the past I would purchase at least 5 of the cheese advent calendars. (and save one for December) Last year the cheese was just OK. But I love the Cheese advent calendar and I bought the 2024 calendar excited and soon to be very disappointed with the cheese. Even the plain Cheddar cheese was disappointing.

I wanted to love this but the cheese looks extremely basic and for $16 at just over 12oz of cheese its more of a novelty. I found one of the pieces to be extremely moldy and another with slight mold.

The packaging was very cute, but when I had opened them I noticed mold on 2 of the pieces. It was due to separation in the sealing around the cheese. You also don't get 24 different types of cheese. It's just a repeat of 6 flavors.

We have been buying advent cheese calendars for the past 5 or so years. This has been the best one. All 12 cheeses (2 of each) were very good. It's fun opening the door and sharing a cheese each day. Our daughter and son in law also enjoy. We were sad to reach the last one on Christmas Eve. I hope Sam's continues to sell every year.
