2024 Messina Tax Return

BEEN USING TURBO TAX FOR YEAR AND IT IS EASYTO USE.

TURBO TAX IS ABSOUTELY WONDERFUL.

I have been a loyal TurboTax user for many years. Each year, it feels like it gets more and more difficult to purchase the software and to do my tax return. For years, I have always e-filed my federal and state returns. This year, TurboTax would not allow me to e-file because there was a 0 on line 27a of Part II on the Profit or Loss from business form. I could not figure out why a 0 would prevent me from e-filing. I was forced to spend $60 and had to wait over 1 hour and 15 minutes for on-line support. In the end, I was guided on how to remove the 0 and then I was able to e-file. To describe this experience as frustrating is a huge understatement. I had to spend extra money and a lot of extra time just to get my simple tax returns done and e-filed.

I will say the woman that helped me online was great and was able to figure it out, but it took even her, an experienced TurboTax support person of 5 years, quite a while to find and fix the error. I greatly appreciate her help.

However, I am very disappointed in the software. I am using the Home & Business version running on Windows 11.

TurboTax 2025 Home & Business issues e-filing

got the job done.   Desktop preferred because it gives the running result of fed and state at top.  I tried online edition and that appeared late in the interview process.  And I can do other family taxes on same desktop purchase, not true for online.  Desktop cost is lower than online.  I see Intuit is pushing online.
