Whenever I bought multi packs of pens, I never had to consider that there was a clear coating of wax on the pen tips. Well… That’s what happened this time. I thought the pens may have been a little old so I did what I’ve done all my life when a new pen doesn’t write and I ignited a lighter below the tip to get the ink flowing. After doing so, I realized that there was wax covering the tips. Maybe the pen company should consider covering the tips with a neon cover so that people would not show outstanding vision can see what is going on. 🤷‍♂️ I ruined one of the pen tips By using the method I did.

The pens are nice and heavy in your hands, but being Sharpie, even though they're Sharpie gel, I was hoping they would write on plastic and not smear, or at least dry a little more quickly than other gel pens. Not so. Still rubs off with just the oils from my hands on any non-porous surface.

These pens have a good weight to them. Not so heavy that your hand gets tired, but heavy enough you don't need to press hard to get the ink flowing.
